We're on a stretch of land surrounded by woods, in the Deep South. Sometimes I think we should change our State Bird to the mosquito. Then there are the deer flies, or buck flies, as Uncle Dave calls them. They're tiny, but vicious. They go high, and you'll feel them smacking into your head, eager to feed on you. Just walking from your truck into the house is a chore in itself. So you can imagine working outdoors for hours on end. Review: Small enough to fit in a pocket - This insect repellent was very effective when I sprayed it on before a baseball game. Not once did I get bitten. Usually I’m scratching and swatting bugs when I’m outdoors in the evening and when I come in with welts on my arms and legs I wind up scratching all night long. It did not leave an oily residue and the smell was bearable but I would much rather smell this spray than get eaten by bugs. I sprayed once before I went out and it lasted for several hours. I would buy again.

A: It doesn't have an expiration date on it. I bought many (16 maybe) cans over a year ago and it still works great. I'm in TN and I'm tasty bait for mosquito and chiggers and other flying bugs. It is the only thing that works for me. I wish it also had version that contained sun screen!

This insect repellent was very effective when I sprayed it on before a baseball game. Not once did I get bitten. Usually I’m scratching and swatting bugs when I’m outdoors in the evening and when I come in with welts on my arms and legs I wind up scratching all night long. It did not leave an oily residue and the smell was bearable but I would much rather smell this spray than get eaten by bugs. I sprayed once before I went out and it lasted for several hours.
