As a longtime user of this Mfg'r, I've found it to perform to complete satisfaction. The only exception in over 25 years experience was specifically here: the mic which came with my complete wireless system was defective out-of-the-box, necessitating this replacement purchase. This new mic works perfectly, and I will continue to buy Audio Technica

We ordered this Audio-Technical lavalier microphone to replace a defective microphone connecting to an Audio-Technica wireless belt-pack transmitter that is a part of our church sound system. This new microphone has solved our problems. The pastor sounds full and natural. There is no extra and distracting noise to deal with. This mike was an inexpensive way to continue using our cordless transmitter/receiver and it matched perfectly with our equipment. Well worth the cost!

This product is a great replacement. Our old one was not working and we needed one right away. It works great and will by again if needed.

I bought this lav mic to replace the one at church. The pick up seems good--I had it clipped to the collar of my vestment. I was a tad concerned that it would not do as good a job because it was fixed at an angle. It would have been more helpful if the mic clip rotated so the mic angle could be adjusted even with the uneven placement of the clip. The mic cable is also a plus--the gauge of the wire seems thicker and sturdier than other mic cables I've seen. Made in Japan too! And with the price point...iit's a good value for the money.

Good microphone replacement for our Audio Technica Body Pack lavalier. It was plug it in and turn it on. It sounds good and works great as a replacement for our previous microphone that had the cable finally go bad after 10 years of weekly use. You do need to be careful where you place this microphone on the person speaking to avoid sounds of movement but still get the voice well, but that's not unusual for these. We use this in a church setting, so we only really use them once a week. The cable on this microphone is a bit too long for our use, but it's not too much of an issue. The cable length does give you lots of options on transmitter placement, but in a church setting it's more of a nuisance than a help. Had they made it about a foot shorter I would have given them 5 out of 5. I heare that others have issues with durability, where the cable breaks from being bent too often right at the connector, and I suppose that with the longer cable it might be tempting to wind the cable around the transmitter and break it faster, but with proper care this shouldn't be a problem. Just train you staff to not abuse the cable (you do train them on stuff like this) and you should get years of trouble free service.

Product worked exactly as expected. I did think it was a bit expensive, but it was as cheap as anywhere else I could find it. It was shipped quickly and I got it earlier than originally expected. The quality was good and I do recommend it.

Great piece of equipment. Original manufacturer's replacement. Expensive but worth it. Used in a church setting.

Pros: -Works well Cons: -Cord breaks easily, I think that this is due to the individuals using the mics and then wraping the thin cord around the box and throwing it in a drawer. The majority of the breaks on these cords have occured near the stem of the input connection. I suggest shrink wrapping that portion of the wire in order to increase the stability of the cable.

We bought this to replace an awkward headset mic for our church sound system. We needed something that would work with our existing hardware. It fits the ATW T601A perfectly and is a great microphone. Very happy with it. Our only complaint is with the original unit - even when turned off, it drains drains the 9V battery between uses, so we have a prominent note on the unit to remove the battery when not in use.

Replacement for over-ear microphone. Not quite as sensitive but much easier to wear!
