I live in a little village with very little light pollution, so when it’s dark it’s very dark. Easy to install. Really nice illumination on the dusk setting - not too bright to be distracting, but when on full (either tripped by IR or set to full), they are really bright. I can tell when my nightly hedgehog comes visiting as he trips each one on the way round the garden. The IR detection is good. It’s about 12 foot down the side of the property and you cannot get down without tripping the sensors. The sensors are also very similar in range as they each turn on the appropriate light at roughly the same intervals.My only negatives -1. the light is very white. Fine for security, but maybe too white if you were in the garden late and using them. 2. The front panels are generally white in colour and stand out more than if the colour was darker. Just a personal preference that makes the lights a little more noticeable than I would like.Overall, highly recommend (I bought the 6 pack and the double lack of the slightly bigger lights by the same supplier). I bought a pack of 6 and they are perfect.The first dim setting is ideal and makes the garden look great at night providing adequate lighting to sit out in.The 2nd setting is them on dim and then motion detection to go bright, these lights really do brighten up the whole of the garden and will last for a good few hours along as you have had a decent day of sunlight.We keep ours on setting 3 which is off and motion detection to bright. This is perfect for our dog going out at night to do his business and also as they are so bright a great security feature.So easy to install and the pack comes with decent screws, wall plugs and double sided sticky back pads.I used the screws provided and installed them straight into our wooden fence posts at about 2m high, all 6 were done in less than 10 minutes.A simple yet modern design, these lights really do blend in well with our garden and I am really pleased how they have turned out. Had these up now a couple of months and they have performed very well they have multiple settings for off, permanently on dimmed. dimmed and High beam PIR. High beam PIR only.I got them because my dog eye sight us fading. and he reluctantly goes out at night in the garden for 'last wees' etc.These are all round my garden at 6 foot spaces. They light up as my dog passes and are very sensitive to any movement. sometimes they are all on. they are that senstive. He now has no problem. I can hang my washing out in the dark or in fact garden and mow lawn if so inclined.Very bright on high beam PIR. bright moonlight on dimmed. Oh, they actually do stay on all night. I'm not a good sleeper and sometimes awake till dawn. these lights are always still on. Ensure you mount them where they get light all day long to ensure good charging of solar panels. i.e. don't mount behind bushes or under trees.Waterproof too.
