This was a gift for my 12 year old niece. She LOVED it. She enjoys writing songs and wasThrilled that there was a place for music as well as the lyrics. There were pages full of useful info in it as well. I had NO IDEA it was going to be such a hit !

Has parts where can jot down chords / tabs w/ lyrics and special divisions for lyrics. It is what I expected. Also, simple and not to complex to use.

Great little songwriting tool, however...the pages pictured with the staffs, TABs (which I might repurpose as bass staffs), and chord diagrams reflect every other pair of pages - the other pages are just ruled. Now, I can see that working great for some people's needs - and maybe it will give me extra space for lyrics, ideas, mistakes, etc. - I just wish it had been advertised as such as I may only use ½ of the book....The book's size was advertised properly, but I would love a larger version of it as an option. I would have given 5 stars if all the pages were as pictured....For the Seller/Manufacturer, maybe a suggestion: a Circle of 5ths diagram in those leading pages might be more helpful than the songwriting guidance - at least for me.

the elastic strap is helpful to keep any scraps of papers inside. My Dad loved it

I don’t write songs but am using it to write down strum patterns. It has a place to mark chord diagrams which I like. Nice quality and size.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my music loving friend and he absolutely adored it. He spent the whole Christmas party looking through it. :) Worth the money, great quality.

I love it great for song writing and or jotting down inspirational thoughts. Perfect size so you can take it anywhere and lots of pages for your ideas.

My only disappointment was in how small the staves were. Almost impossible to write music notes on them.I had to purchase an additional larger staff notebook The concept is great,but the format needs to be re-worked to make it more user-friendly.
