DEWALT Bit Holder, 3-in-1, Impact Ready (DWA3HLDFT)

Worked well until I put a bit in it with a retracting lock. Now the bit us stuck in it. My fault. This is the second DeWalt bit holder I have had. Really like them but don't put the wrong bit in it. Guess I will have to buy another and only use this one with the bit that is stuck in it, I may try again to get the bit out, If I can, I will be more careful with the bits I put in it.

This bit holder works great and the slim top makes it easier to get into tighter spaces. This works best with the 17/8" bits as they seat deeply while leaving plenty to grab the screws. If you want to use 1" bits I suggest the WIHA SlimFix 1/4" Bit Holder as it is more shallow and leaves more of the bit exposed to grab onto the screws.

Great Purchase, awesome tool. I was in need of a Hex Bit Adapter/Extension for my new Cordless Drill. There were many to choose from here at Amazon. This was a half inch longer than what I wanted and just a bit more expensive than some of the others. But even though most of the photos in the reviews were showing failure of the Locking Mechanism. I decided to get this one anyway, because of the Dewalt Name. Now glad I did. Love the Locking Mechanism and the magnet inside is no slouch either. With a Hex Bit in place. There is enough magnetism to pick up multiple Screws out of a pile. So, I know if I place a Screw on the tip of a Hex Bit. It's not going anywhere unless I manage to somehow knock it off. I liked it so much. I came back and ordered two more. Now I have one in each of the Emergency Tool Bags I keep in my two Vehicles and one in the garage for the Cordless Drill.

Probably my favorite bit holder on the market right now. It’s slim so it’s able to fit through tight spaces. That other bulkier locking bit holders aren’t and the magnets is a huge plus. I also love the design of how the bits release and insert.

This is one of the best bit holders out there. I've tried many brands, and this one is among the best because of its quick-release design, good magnetism, and slim profile for tighter spaces. However, there's a downside: they aren't very durable. If they made the quick-release mechanism more robust, it would be fantastic.

Great product. A must have if you own a corded or cordless drill

This is my favorite go to bit holder. The magnetic-only ones will often release the bit when a soft screw “grabs on” to the bit (and it releases from the holder). I never have that problem with this DeWalt bit holder.

No more dropping bits. This thing is solid. Works great. I tried shaking my drill up and down side to side. Nothing is going to let your bit escape. And it’s just a quick pull back on the black part of the adapter and the bit unlocks and pops forward so you can remove it. I like it a lot. I’ve got others I use that work a little differently than this one. But this one’s a keeper. If I lose it I’ll get another for sure.

Es un buen portapuntas, tiene buen imán, además de que trae un seguro para que las puntas no se salgan. considero que es un poco estorboso para aplicaciones en espacios reducidos. De ahí en fuera, funciona muy bien, mejora el agarre de la punta en el tornillo y previene barrer la cabeza de los tornillos.

Bon porte embout, le système de déverrouillage en bas c'est génial, mais ca va abîmé au tour de 200 vis 80/120m vissé sur sapin ou chêne. Il n'est pas un porte embout pour usage intensif.

Great pit holder, slim and strong bit loock. I recomend this holder if your bits are beaing pulld out by screvs.
