Since we love to take her with us for hiking, that was the saddest news to hear. So, we tried to get a carrier. None of them works; a regular backpack type carrier, a sling bag, a baby carrier wrap and etc. You name it, we must've tried it already. It's either too much stress on our shoulder&back to carry our chunky girl or she feels uncomfortable. Among all the options, we like a sling bag the most. But me and my husband had to take turns every 1 hour to prevent unbalanced weight causing a critical pain on our shoulder&back. Most importantly, the sitting posture in the sling bag wasn't good for my dog's leg. (She limped after a while.) Eventually, I tried this design. Thank god it works! My girl is sitting so comfortably without having pressure on her leg with ACL torn. And we can carry her for hiking without having too much pain. It feels like we're wearing a regular bag. I give 4 starts because we wish the lower back suppoer would be lower to hang on our hip. That'd be even better.
