Perfect fit Replacement
This was a great find, at the right price, to replace the part that snapped in my fingers unexpectedly. We’ve had this vacuum for over 7 yrs, and it has kept performing at or above expectations because I take it apart and clean it twice a year. With a house full of ladies, the roller needs to get cleared once a month at the very minimum due to the volume of 12” to 18” blond and brown strands that get picked up everywhere. So I cut them and use needle nose pliers to tear out the clumps. It’s worked well for us thus far, and when this little release tab snapped I was ticked off with myself for being so clumsy. Didn’t realize that the same thing happens to so many other owners regularly.Recommend it for those who own one of these machines. I may just order another to have on hand.

Terrible fit. Poor reproduction of the OEM part
Rough reproduction of the OEM part. Gets stuck and doesn’t slide well. Barely works. Tried to clean it up to make it work but it still gets stuck. Waste of money.

Complicated to install
I have an older Dyson DC41 and this newly designed part is the only option to replace the bin release button but it does work. However, the installation is complicated and time consuming due to Dyson’s poor design.

Was not easy to install and doesn’t work as well as it should

Worked for older DC41!
I was told I’d have to get a new canister because the two pieces of my older DC41 were designed different than this new style. Not true! It was a bit of a trick to get the lower piece out, but I lubed it with WD40 and got a tiny flat head screwdriver behind it and popped it out. This new one popped in pretty easily! Pretty cheap fix! Careful with the springs though. Great replacement set!

This piece broke on my Dyson vacuum cleaner. I thought oh my gosh I am going to have to buy a new vacuum cleaner!! I was delighted to find that I could buy this replacement part my husband easily installed it

It just didn’t work…
This was something that looked like it should work, was able to install, but it just didn’t work. The canister kept falling off the vacuum.Price was right, too bad it didn’t work…
