I have a hammered copper Sinkology kitchen sink with a garbage disposal. I needed a basket to catch items that I didn't want falling into the disposal. This is perfect and matches the drain collar perfectly! It is exactly what I wanted and a better match then I had hoped for!

Having done a kitchen remodel, every detail needs to be right. The brushed bronze sink basket I got from one of the big stores lasted a few weeks when the coating came off and I threw it out! This is solid, looks lovely and matches perfectly. Good quality.

This is a very attractive product, but with very poor manufacturing standards. I have purchased two of these, so I have a good basis for my conclusion. The first strainer"s stopper was a bit to large for my drain, but was serviceable enough with careful placement and exertion of some force to form a seal. It eventually came apart and I chalked it up to the extra wear of "making it work" and ordered another one to replace it. The second strainer was a perfect fit and formed a good seal with ease of use. Unfortunately, it disintegrated into its component parts after only two months of use. Replacement was refused on the grounds of expiration of return period. With the short functioning life I can't address the durability of the finish. Sorry.
