This product is more expensive than other alternatives, but its quality is higher also. When you’re thinking about a nonstick rug pad remember that this is the interface between your rug and your floor. That means a lot of weight and a lot of time will go by before you want to think about this pad. For that reason, I do think a rug pad is something that is worth spending money on. This rug pad fits my needs. It holds my runner rug down on vinyl perfectly, with no slipping or moving. It uses small silicone bubbles on the lower side to adhere to the floor, and a textured fabric on the top side to stick to the rug. It didn’t have any smell like some other products do. It has a very negligible amount of thickness and padding. Buy this to prevent your rug from moving, don’t expect a luxury padding experience and you will be satisfied.

Love how thin this rug pad is and the texture. It’s exactly what I wanted for underneath my new braided rug. Easy to cut to fit also.

This pad works great under my rug. It keeps it in place and adds padding. It is a little bigger than the rug, that is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. It is easy to trim down.

Very soft, keeps my rug in place. Had to cut a few inches off, but easy to manage.

I had purchased a larger sized rug pad from another vendor that I had already rec'd a smaller size in that was great. The larger size stunk. It had a horrible chemical smell I couldn't get rid of. So I purchased this one on Amazon and there is no smell! Its thin but it holds my carpet wonderfully! VERY VERY HAPPY!!!

These rug liners/floor protectors are very nice and soft. They feel great on the feet and do the job of protecting my hard wood floors.

I didn't read the description carefully and was surprised to find a thin and scratchy pad with multiple colors - almost spray paint like. The part that touches the hard floor is softer and doesn't seem as rubbery or grippy as other rug pads. The product is made from post consumer industrial materials and green certified, so the scratchiness and spray paint look is understandable, I guess. No noticeable odor. I had purchased a cheap, washable rug and probably should have gotten a pad with more padding. It still feels not quite great underfoot, but may work well with a more standard style & thickness rug.

We have wood floors in our living room and I always put down an area rug for us and the dogs...but it wasn't until recently that I even thought about getting a pad for it. It makes such a difference! Works so good. No more slipping around. The rug looks and feels better. Kicking myself for not doing it sooner!

good quality, perfect thickness and size- did the job for me.

It comes folded not rolled. After almost a year it still keeps the shape and not completely flat. This makes my flat woven rug looks like creased, not so flattering! It may work if your rug is heavy with high pile. It is thick and keeps your rug in place for sure.

Used with a nuLOOM brand runner and it prevent it's from slipping on hard wood floors maybe only 70%? For the price I expect 95-100%. I already trimmed it down to size so cant return it! Might work better with bigger carpets but not so much with a runner :(

This product is NOT soft at all. It does not give anything to the underlay on the rug. Great for keeping the rug from sliding but not worth the cost. If you want to get something to put underneath a rug for comfort look elsewhere
