5 stars for Monster's excellent customer service
3 stars for the LIVESTRONG in-ear headphones (earphones)5 stars for Monster's excellent customer service, as they replaced my earphones with the newer line.UPDATE: I am constantly listening to music or podcasts while at home, work, or commuting. Over time I have bought numerous headphones and earphones, as I am always searching for the best one. Personally I am not a fan and do not like earbuds, they do not fit or stay in my ears, and I don’t like cramming them into my ear canal.iSport LIVESTRONGTo be honest, when I first bought these earphones in 2012, I fell in love with them. Primarily because they were the first earphones that I used that had "earwings." The earwings push against your ear providing a more secure fit. They come in small, medium, and large. I am not an audiophile, so I felt that these earphones sounded great and was very satisfied. However over time I had several issues with the iSport LIVESTRONG earphones: (1) the ear wings broke easily. After several months of daily usage I managed to tear a medium and then a large earwing; (2) the plug is short. In order to use these earphones on my phone I had to remove the case; (3) these earphones use an L-joint connector/plug and in my opinion it caused the wires to bend or break quicker than a straight plug would have. Since the earwings tore and the wires at the joint lost connectivity I returned them to Monster. In exchange they sent me a new pair of their iSport Victory headphones in green. At the time I bought these earphones for around $100, I wouldn’t recommend buying them for that price because of its durability issues.

water resistant headphones died from sweat exposure
Conceptually, they're an awesome idea, and being from the same company that produced the beats by dre headphones, you would think they'd be the perfect product. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Not to say that they're not great headphones, just not for athletic activity like they're advertised to be. They come with a huge selection of ear fins and tips to customize the fit which is great and they even have instructions on how to find the perfect size. The sound quality is great too. Good bass, clear mid and highs, high quality headphones for sure. The second I start really sweating however, no matter what size tip or wings I had it, they ALWAYS started to slip out. After a while, the in-line control/mic stopped working as well from what I assume, was the massive amount of sweat they were exposed to even though there are supposed to be water resistant.Pros: excellent sound quality, superb product build, cool colors, flat cables almost never tangled, HUGE selection of ear tips and fins to customize to your ear canal, in-line control and mic.Cons: no matter what size tip or wing I chose, they always started to fall out once I sweat. in-line mic/control stopped working from sweat.Overall, they're a pretty decent product but not for activity like they say. They're probably better for just listening and in that case, I'd but a much cheaper pair of earbuds. I would def not buy them again.

Best earbuds I've found for my particular needs
I bought a couple of these almost two years ago and they are still going strong. These are my favorite earbuds for daily use. I use them primarily for rlistenign to audiobooks and text to speech "reading" of Kindle books. I have used them only occasionally to listen to music and they seemed fine for that purpose but you would need to go to someone else's review if you are interested in extended music listening. I have had some hearing loss and for music listening I typicall use hearing aids and a full sized set of over the ear headphones such as the ATH-M50x. Second, I don't use them running and can't comment on how well they handle that level of activiity. My use is not sedentary but most typically I use them walking. Under those conditions they are more secure and more comfortable than other earbuds I've tried. I've also used them in in noisy environments paired with a set of shooters muffs and that combination gives good souind isolation ; by themselves their sound isolation is only mediocre.Mine came wiht several spaire "earclips" and I've found tht I do need these, every once in a while, not I thihnk because they break but because I carry the earbuds in my pocket and they sometimes snag and an earclip comes off and gets lost. If you receive spare ear clips, be sure to hang on to them. The ear clips are easy to replace, just snap it on. I assume that the retail box still includes spare earclips since this is the same ASIN as when I purchased them.

For less than 30 bucks, refurbished, they are as good as can be expected
First off, I want to say I love the adjustable sizing. Earbuds have never fit me and this product definitely exceeded my expectations in this regard. I run daily and I lift daily. I never once had a problem with the remote and found it to have all of the functionality I desired. No volume control but, waaah, waaaah, waaaaah, I PAID LESS THAN 30 BUCKS! You can answer, hang up, talk to your calls and your phone, start, pause, and skip songs with one little handy on headphone remote. After about 6 months of daily use (around two hours a day) the right (non remote side) earbud stopped working properly. The volume would either be non-existent or super-low.Guess what? I just ordered two new pair of this model! And I am still under the cost of one of the newer versions.Mark me down as highly satisfied!I will update this review if anything is out of the ordinary with the ones I just ordered.EDIT: One of the two refurbished headphones microphones did not work, but they BOTH were the version with adjustable volume. SWEET!!! FYI only. I have no doubt they will take care of the replacement without issue and I will update when the faulty pair is replaced.

Excellent value and good quality
I have tried a number of headphones for running and found most to fall short, but rate these very highly.I find these to be perfect for me. The fit is superb and they are very secure when working out, the sound quality is very good and not too bass heavy. Due to the fit, they do block out ambient noise very well, which is fine for where I run, but where there is traffic it can be a problemThe only criticism I would make is that from some of the web links, I expected in line volume control as well as track functionality, but this is not there, but no big deal.

Disappointing
After reading the reviews I was looking forward to running with these. They took time to fit, but it was worth it, as the sound was very good and it worked well with my iPhone. Unfortunately the earbud is on. Very stubby stalk, so it's very difficult to fit into the ear canal. Consequently, as soon as I started to run it could not fit correctly as it just isn't long enough. The sound is therefore tinny and annoying. Very disappointed : (

Never anywhere without them
Bought primarily for the gym (with a view to buy another pair of expensive, overheard headphones), I have ended up using these everywhere, and saved a lot of money. The sound quality is easily as good as Beats (my previous headphones). The buds and 'wingtips' are so comfortable (they come in 4 different sizes) that you hardly notice them, and can easily listen for hours without discomfort (so far the longest I have had them in is 4 hours). The cable being flat is a huge bonus, as they hardly ever tangle, which is excellent when in the gym or commuting.Overall, I have no negatives to say about them. They punch well above their weight, and at the price, they are a steal. Knowing how good they are, would happily have paid double for them.

I suspect they are fake - beware. Control button becomes unusable after a few weeks :-(
Avoid VP Sales if you have a problem it seems there is no way to contact them, I suspect they are fake which is the only reason I can see that the seller would make it impossible to send them a message like most other legitimate sites!!!Also, they dont stay in the ear anywhere like as well as they claim!!!!

Excellent sports headphones
Really good set of headphones. I use mainly for gym and find them to be one of the better sets I've tried. Never fall out once you've picked the correct size earpiece (comes with several different sizes). I'm not typically a fan of in-ear headphones, but find the improved sound quality is worth the slight comfort trade-off. Overall, very happy with these and would recommend to anyone looking for good sound quality during sports / training.
