(Mepitac 2 x 300 cm Roll Non-Sterile by Mlnlycke Health Care GmbH and Mepitac - 1-1/2" roll - Model 55985403). I'm incredibly pleased with the combination of both products and would strongly recommend the duo to anyone who has a fresh and significant scar they want reduced.Even early on in the scar healing process after my surgery, the doctor and their staff were really impressed by the healing of the scar and the lack of keloid formation. At the six month mark, I continue to use the BioCorneum and Mepitac 24/7 and only remove it to shower - changing the Mepitac tape every 3-4 days. I'm told that a full year is suggested if I want to completely minimize the scarring and so far the combo has done that very, very well.An extra suggestion, grab some cleansing cloths (Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, Refill Pack, 25 Count) to clean off the residual silicone and BioCorneum before a shower. Soap doesn't quite do the trick but the cloths do a great job in one swipe.I'll update this again at the 1-year mark. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive, but great scar cream!! *by N***Y on January 15, 2014* I had a surgery in April that left me with a long incision on my abdomen that began to puff up at about 3 months. I am an African American female making me more prone to keloids. I began using BioCorneum as suggested about 4 months ago. I also use Rose Hip Seed Oil daily along with it. BioCorneum is somewhat sticky and I would recommend only using a small amount and letting it dry before getting dressed. I have noticed a HUGE difference in the appearance of my scar. You can't even see it anymore. It is also smoother and lighter. I must admit though, prior to Biocorneum, I tried several other products, like Maderma (which did nothing), Scar A-Way silicone sheets (which made it itch less), and Kelocote (which made it flatter). BioCorneum is very expensive so I deducted a star for that, but otherwise, it has done my scar good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Life Changing- highly recommend! *by M***E on May 12, 2019* I love this product. Life changing. I had surgery on my stomach do to two procedures. I felt hopeless my stomach would ever look normal again. I stopped wearing bikinis and was very insecure about it. I contemplated having surgery to redo my scars. It would’ve been expensive with some downtime. I’m so glad I tried this first. It’s well worth the price and a little bit goes a long way. Within a very short period of time my worst scar was fading rapidly. I can barely see it.
