The bottoms/heels are not reinforced, but I've worn these ~10 or so times for the full day without any holes or severe wear spots. Only two things I'd warn about is that the slight lacy texture of the knit might get caught on things if you aren't careful; AND the crochet lace ruffle at the top distinctly darker tan compared to the ivory sock/button detail.
