Will the rode ntg4+ fit on this pole?

The Boompole is a pole that you would mount a shock mount or an attachment like the Blimp on to. Think of it like a microphone stand that you hold. Will the NTG4+ work with this - absolutely - as long as you have the correct mount to attach it to this pole.

Does Røde offer a hook to attach a counterweight to the bottom of the pole?

No this is a hand held version. Probably not a good idea to put a counterweight on.

If I wanted to use this with a rode vmp and plug it into a canon dslr t5i, what kind of cord should I buy to use with this boom pole?

You could use a standard microphone cable but you will need adapters for each end of the cable, in order for it to plug into Canon T5i. One end would have to be a female for your rode vmp and the other end that plugs into your camera must be male.I Hope this helps
