Natrapel Tick & Insect Repellent Eco-Spray - Bug Spray with 20% Picaridin

This is a follow up review. I reached out to the company directly bc I could not get either can to spray. It would have been smart to include these instructions on aspirate card w the orders. Christie Adventure Brands. Please try putting the can in the unlocked position. Put the can on a hard surface. Take your thumb and push down as hard as you can. There is a new seal that needs to be broken in order for the can to spray. If you're still having trouble after trying that, please give us a call back. That did the trick now sprays just fine. Yes a little oily but I liked this product very much and it kept the bugs a Su as u weeded the overgrown garden and hauled debris off into the woods surrounding our property.

Haven't had any problems with bugs and love that it doesn't smell horrible. Only issue is that it feels greasy. I still like it better than others.

We spend a good deal of time at a forested property with plenty of wetlands and insects. Applying this repellent has been a game changer in terms of being able to function there with minimal insect annoyance. Occasionally needs to be reapplied if perspiration rinses it off. Even works well to keep determined deer flies away.

We use this to repel ticks! We have a serious tick problem in our area and any adventure outside could leave you with multiple ticks on you. Not with this. My husband brings it to work and uses it daily. He used to come home and pick off 5-10 daily, this he has maybe 1-2 if any. That in itself is worth any cost! I’ve noticed for myself and my kid it works for mosquitoes as well too. Some of the cans don’t spray well but we still use it and just rub it in to apply.

This product legit works and smells good too! I will never go back to deet after discovering this product so I feel relieved to have found this! I also sweat severely and the product still works just as well as other deet containing products! Of course reapplication is necessary once in a while but that is also necessary with other mosquito sprays!

I purchased the two can order in June 2025. The first can has worked great, but now that I need to use the second can it won’t spray. I’ve tried everything, but can’t get it to spray. Very disappointed as this isn’t cheap!! I basically paid $26 for one can.

I live on a farm and I am planning a camping trip next month. Because mosquitoes like me too much, I bought three different natural repellants and had my husband and son try them out in the fields and when they feed our animals. They readily agreed to be my guinea pigs, um, test subjects! We have a lot of grassy alfalfa and during irrigation, the mosquitoes are virulent, to say the least. The first repellant was lavender, lemongrass, and peppermint based, which smelled nice and went on easily, but it did nothing to repel mosquitoes and my guys came back covered in bites. The second repellant stated it was good for town or jungle, but my guys didn't like how sticky it felt, although they did say it was effective at keeping the onslaught of mosquitoes at bay. Unfortunately, the hay stuck to them like the mosquitoes would have. This product, Natrapel, was the resounding winner of the three! Not only did it go on easily, was odorless, and wasn't sticky, the big factor was nary a single mosquito tried to bite my husband or son. It was as if the mosquitoes had moved on to better hunting grounds. Without any type of repellant, the mosquitoes would swarm and target every inch of exposed skin, go for the eyes, and bite the heck out of them. I'm hopeful and confident I will be safe from the mosquitoes when I go camping and use this product.
