Diary of a Minecraft Zombie Book 8: Back to Scare School (An Unofficial Minecraft Book)

Bought the first Diary of a Minecraft Zombie book for my somewhat reluctant reader who LOVES Minecraft and I read it myself before giving it to him. (Yes, I'm an overly cautious mom.) BUT, I was pleasantly surprised - it was really cute! Not like "awww!" cute, but it was funny and well written, and it addresses typical kid/pre-teen issues without being over the top, but it does it from the perspective of a Zombie kid - mind you, not a flesh-eating, "Walking Dead," scare my kid so he won't sleep zombie, but one that's appropriate for kids his age (9 years when he began reading them).We both enjoyed them so much we've kept buying them and hope they continue coming out with new books! I've also tried a few other Minecraft theme books, and one series was just too "blah" and one that was a similar "diary of..." was okay, but this series just really is good.If you've got a kid who likes Minecraft - this is something worth checking out.

My 8 year old daughter loves these. She would rather play minecraft (or watch other people play minecraft on YouTube) than pretty much anything else. But these books grabbed her attention, and she is whippinh through them as fast as the new ones come out! It actually really helped her get into reading other books too. I think getting the flow going on a book like this, really sparked her interest.

This is the first word-book series (not picture or comic books) that our kid will read non stop! He (8yo) finished all 18 books in 1.5 weeks, as fast as the books can arrive. Please continue this series!!Please Publish Book 19!

My 8 yo son is not much of a reader but loves Minecraft. I was hoping that buying these books would get him more interested in reading and not so much of a fight when it comes to his 10 min reading that he has to do nightly for school. And this book has done the trick. My son will even ask to read a little longer sometimes because he is "at a good part." lol Would highly recommend for any young reader that likes Minecraft.

My 10 year old son was up past 11:00pm last night READING! What?! He told me he was so into this book that he couldn't put it down. I'm glad I already purchased book 9 & 10! And this is a kid who has struggled with reading the past, and getting him to read was tough! I'm so thankful to have this series!! HE LOVES IT!! And he's sad that he's nearing the end of it so quickly! He reads the books within a few days now!!

My son likens reading to corporal punishment, so I am always on the lookout for fun books that pique his interest in reading. As a Minecraft "zombie" himself, I just knew my sweet baby boy would relate to the trials and tribulations of the titular Zombie in this series. My adorable and brilliant cuddlebug devoured all of the presently-available installments and we are both now anxiously awaiting the next. (Seriously. Can't you just churn these out in groups of four or something, Mr. Zack Zombie?)

Age-appropriate, parent-approved. My 9-yr old who is a big Minecraft fan loves these books and they all have very positive messages and they're quite funny too for both kids and grownups.

My son loves these books. They're a bit slim for the price but he loves them and talks about Minecraft and the books quite a bit.

Borrowed this series of books for my grandsons but ended up reading and re-reading them so bought them. Kids love them... aged 7 and 9.

My 8 year old loves these books! Its the only set he will willingly read. Great find. Thank you as at last i have found a set of books my son wants to read...
