A real work horse! We built a chicken plucker ...
A real work horse! We built a chicken plucker, attached this motor and now it's helped us process 125 birds with 50 more to process in a few weeks. I suspect we'll have a long relationship with this motor!!!!

Farm duty
Good motor. Used it on a silo unloader to raise and lower. So far it ran it to the top of a 60 ft silo

Just what I needed to get my Index mill making chips again.
Installed on my old Index milling machine to replace the failed GE motor. Wired up for 220v, runs great forward and reverse. I was quoted $575 for a new GE motor so the Leeson was a great option. The mill does not get used daily so this motor should last a long time.

The Ideal Motor….
This is the ideal motor for making a Whizbang chicken plucker, as explained in the book, "Anyone Can Build a Tub-Style Mechanical Chicken Plucker," by Herrick Kimball. I own two of these motors and am very pleased with the quality.

Performs as expected.
This motor has performed just as expected. I have had no problems. It has proven to be reliable under strenuous use. I highly recommend it. The price is much better than comparable motors.
