Great Budget Projector!
Purchased this projector to use with a screen on an outdoor, covered porch ant it works perfectly for our needs! We received the projector quickly and it was well packaged. We took it out of the box, plugged it in, plugged in an external hard drive and we were very quickly able to access the media on the drive and play it. Super simple to setup and get going! We have also been able to connect to a laptop via HDMI and mirror the laptop screen onto the projector. Focus and tilt were easy to use/adjust. I think the picture quality and brightness is GREAT (especially for the price). We purchased a cheaper projector first (because we didn't understand lumens/lux/ansi levels at all!). The first projector did not work for us because we could not see anything on the screen until it was pitch black out. We weren't expecting to be able to watch movies, outdoors, in the middle of a bright day, but we were hoping we could start a movie after the sub had started to set (even if the picture wasn't great). This projector, however, exceeded our expectations! We can start our movies before the sun has fully set and still get a great picture. We've used the projector for several evenings in a row and no issues yet. My only minor criticism is the speakers aren't amazing. I think they are a perfectly acceptable level of quality (especially for the price!). I think they are great for watching indoors, but outdoors, with a bit more ambient noise, it would be nice if they were a tad bit louder/clearer (but, again, perfectly adequate!). No bid deal though, we're planning to purchase portable, external speakers to use with the projector. I would highly recommend this projector for anyone looking for something a bit brighter than the cheapest possible projectors.

Excellent Projector If You Know What You're Buying
I never owned a projector before, but I wanted one for occasional movie nights or watching playoff games occasionally. I did not buy this to replace a television for daily viewing. If you want a good projector for watching movies and sports in a dim environment, you will not be disappointed in this projector. It is listed as 7000 lumens, but anyone who's done the research knows that lumens are grossly exaggerated by many manufacturers. Wimius also lists the ANSI lumens as 1000. ANSI lumens are a more reliable standardized measure of lumens, and I am very happy that Wimius discloses this more reliable measure. 1000 ANSI lumens is the minimum brightness recommended for a home theater system, so this projector does qualify as a legitimate home theater projector. I tried the projector in my basement in the afternoon, where there was some ambient light coming from a nearby window, and the picture was surprisingly bright. But the projector really shines in a darkened room. The color, brightness and contrast exceeded my expectations. You will not be happy with this projector nor any other projector at this price point if you are hoping to use it in a brightly lit room, so it may not be the best choice for business purposes. If I have to nitpick anything, it's that this projector does not have a leveling screw on the bottom to adjust the tilt when it is sitting on a table, but I understand that's the case with many projectors sold nowadays. One big reason I feel comfortable buying and recommending this projector is Wimius. There are lots of other companies that make inexpensive projectors (maybe they're all the same company), but Wimius has an actual working website and a customer service department that responds to emails. That may not be the truest test of a company's reputation, but I would not want to buy from a company that has no website or has a website that is barely functional. Overall, this is an inexpensive projector with good build quality, excellent picture quality, and very good brightness for the price point.

very good for its price
I purchase it to experience the "big screen" feeling. The projector is easy to set up. A good screen and proper installation is a must to go with the projector. A good sturdy projector stand will make the set up more convenient. To enhance the experience, you need an external speaker system to fully enjoy it. The build in speaker is decent for presentation but it is not loud enough for action and music. I used a portable Altec Lancing speaker/subwoofer combo which is just right. I do have a home theater sound system and chose not to use it to avoid the cumbersome wiring effort. The projector image is clear at enter but not at the edges as described in the manual. I did not expect the picture quality to be as good as the LCD TV. The brightness and the crispness of the projector is no comparison with the TV but the price is only about 1/10 of the TV. I can barely see the project image in a room during the day that has all the blinds closed. At night, with minimum ambient light, the picture is great from the distance of 12 feet away, the crispness is not important. I feel the external sound system is important because at least your audio experience is fulfilled. We watched a movie on it and feel it s worth the money and effort for a crowded audience. and large screen experience.

For the money you can't beat it
For the money you can't beat it this is about the best you're going to do for under $300 the unit was surprisingly better than I expected the new brightness feature they offer is fantastic this is the third or fourth projector I went through I had to return the other two units they had problems the only thing annoying about these is the Amazon fire stick will not turn the unit on or off or operate the volume I noticed the same problem on the other two units also I am not real crazy about the sound but for the price I'll live with it the projector is not noisy with the fan what does produce quite a bit of heat but that's normal very easy to set up it is a little bit tricky at first trying to get the picture not to be upside down and the writing backwards the remote control I was not crazy about there is no button that says menu it is all symbols bought again for the price I am very pleased with thisI guess the next step up would be some sort of $500 projector but this one for under 300 is worth the money for what this thing does you can't beat at some of these projectors are thousands of dollars for the most part that description was very accurate if you're fussy about the sound you can add a soundbar to this I am considering that as far as clarity goes the picture was very clear and bright I would have to give this product five stars I give four stars to the sound and remote control but so far so good I am a happy camper

great projector, definite upgrade from my last one
upon unboxing, i really enjoyed the nice, sleek design of this projector. i prefer the color white so the fact that it matched my projectors mount and the walls/ceiling really helps it blend it smoother into the background and not stick out against the artwork on my wall. the black piece shown in the image is the connection cables (hdmi, surround sound, chromecast) which i dont mind but might soon replace with white ones. i was in the market for a new projector because the old one i have wasn't 4k compatible so it was hard to enjoy great quality video without the compatibility, as well as issues with the surround sound continuously failing. this projector was not only fairly priced for the product itself, but is overall just a great purchase that im happy i made. i havent had any issues with compatibility using the surround sound, or video quality. the only major difference i notice is that when my surround sound i already on at a decent volume level (lets say 50%), and the projector is already casting something, it'll remain on mute (about 90% of the times i turn it on) until i grab the projector remote and hit either volume up/down and only then does the sound actually go through. this is actually convenient cause my partner always leaves the surround sound super loud so it gives me a chance to drop it down before the audio actually goes through once i use the projector remote (i live in an apartment and walls are paper thin). i did have some issues with the remote not functioning well, no matter how close or far i was to both sensors on the front and back of the projector. i had to click the power button sometimes 4 times, sometimes 20 times and from different distances and angles. i reached out to the support team and the seller was very helpful and responsive and shipped out a new remote. the new remote is a big slow as well, but its a much better outcome compared to the original one. if youre considering purchasing this projector, i greatly recommend it!

Great projector for the price!!
I've had this projector for about two weeks now and so far it has been great! Pros: - The picture is very clear and bright enough to use in a moderately bright room, although the darker the better. - The colors are nice and punchy, and the contrast really makes them pop out more. - There are tons of customization options to make the picture look however you want it. -The speakers on the projector are decent enough to use in a small room, but it would be better if you pair it up with a good soundbar. - The projector fan is not too loud, around 50 decibels if you stand right next to it, but the speakers drown it out fairly easily. -The projector feels sturdy and the remote is simple yet does everything you need it to do. -Customer service is amazing and quick to respond. Cons: -Although I've tried to get the corners and sides to focus, they always end up looking a bit blurry. It isn't noticible when watching videos or movies, but it's definetly noticible whenever there is text near the edges. All in all, this projector has the picture quality comparable to a tv, and is much better than my old 720p projector. That combined with great features, such as the one-key brighten, capable of reducing the screen by up to 25%, and the being able to adjust it at no matter what angle you have it, really makes this projector a great buy!

Great picture, excellent price - Very good experience so far
I did a fair amount of research before buying a projector for my backyard family movie nights. With COVID-19 shutting down movie theaters, I wanted to create movie "events" for my family. This projector more than does the trick. The picture is bright and crisp and you don't lose details in the night time scenes. The fan isn't too noisy, which is good, because the speakers are little quiet for an outdoor experience. But that's a small quibble considering it's easy to connect to a Bluetooth speaker with the help of an inexpensive (under $30) Bluetooth transmitter that plugs right into the headphone jack on the projector. Speaking of inputs on the back of the projector, there are two HDMI inputs, which is more than enough to plug in a Fire TV Stick, a laptop and/or a Blu Ray player. Translation: You can pretty much play any movie you can find. There are no limits. My kid even used it for gaming the other day. This is my first projector experience and I'm very pleased with both its quality of this projector and a price I considered very affordable. We're sure to have many more great nights in our backyard before this pandemic is over! Sure, it required a very simple attachment to get better outdoor sound, but that still keep it way under the price of other comparable projectors. Well worth it.

Decent Projector for the price, has some issues
I was looking for a lower cost 1080p native projector to use in a few different ways. (possibly for outdoor movie night during social distancing etc.) I have a high quality Sony projector in the house, and I didn't think it would be that quality. I am using a stand alone 120" screen. The brightness of the projector is decent for the cost. First thing I want to call out. Lumens of an LCD, LDP etc. projector should be measured the same with a sensor across the screen at 9 different locations (this now says it is 1000 ANSI lumens, which seems correct). If the seller is talking about Lumens of the bulb (7000), that is completely different and that is not what they should be measuring. (To put this in comparison, my Sony projector measures at 1,700 lumens and is a good bit brighter.) Overall I think this is a decent Projector but it does have some issues which keep it down. Focus: There are some decent focus issues for this projector. I have attached pictures taken from the left, right and center of the image. The center of the image, when focused is pretty clear, but as you can see, the left and right are not only a little blurry, but they also are smeared and not crisp. This points to an issue with a poor quality lens being used. I am sure this helps to keep costs down. When you are watching a film, this isn't a huge issue, but it is something to keep in mind. Adjustment: When using a projector like this, typically you have some screwable and adjustable legs that allow you to move the projectors front left and right legs up and down to match the screen. This projector doesn't have this feature. There are holes, but if you use the feet attached, it always falls back to the far left corner of the projector as the weight seems to be stored there and makes it lopsided. That then means you have to start stacking items under the projector, and you can't seem to move the image without actually moving the projector. (so you will need a specific correct height table for your application, or ceiling mount. Sound: Sound is louder than on a number of cheaper projectors, but it is still lower quality, and you will most likely want to buy a 1/8 inch cable to wire to a soundbar, or plug in an external speaker system. The Fan: The fan is quite loud. When I was running it inside, it was louder than my high end projector. When I was outside it wasn't as bad, but it is still louder than I expected. Overall, for my use, this will work but needs a bit of fiddling to get it to show on the screen correctly, and realize this doesn't have a super crisp image. For a projector to just bring along that you don't have to worry about, I would put it into consideration. NOTE: This is NOT a 4K projector, it downsides the 4K image (which has 4x as many pixels) to 1920x1080
