This book is so easy to follow and learn from. I think of it as cooking classes with recipes here from soups and salads to entrees and desserts and even how to make basic stocks. There are also sections that deal with purchasing proper kitchen equipment and cutlery. This is for anyone like me who is on the go and wants to make and enjoy gourmet food, but doesn't always have the time to break out the heavy daunting cookbooks.

Loved the book and meeting the cook!!! Guacamole is outstanding and the puree mix stores well and is a delightful spread on all sorts of other foods :-) like my morning scrambled eggs. Trying the dry rub recipe on leg of lamb next.....yum!
