I use this Vacuum for my auto detailing company. It is compact, powerful, easy to clean out and comes with a lot of useful attachements. The hose is flexible and well made. I will br buying more of these.:::Edit:::Unit breaks faster than my $70 vacuums from home depot, I have two of these and both are busted. The case, which is made of metal and feels very solid has clips that break after a while and won't hold the top on. Also, if you step on the hose, it bends permanently and doesn't work as well and clogs after that.

Terrific suction, noisy, fairly portable, but you need an extension cord if you want to blow or vacuum over an area larger than 10 ft. Very versatile set of attachments.

These things are built like little tanks and always work. What else could you possibly want? They are easy to store, have a ton of add-ons if you need longer hoses, extra attachments and they even have a small wheeled trolley to mount it on to make it easier to move around your car/truck. Just keep the filter clean and empty it after every use and you'll always have good service from your Metrovac.

Don't let the size of this small vacuum fool you -- this little model has the most suction I have ever seen in even a full-sized, top of the line canister model. It removed dust and ground-in dirt like I have never seen any vacuum do, and it brought the carpet nap right up.This vacuum arrived safely and was well packaged to avoid damage in transit (I purchased the one sold by Amazon.com and not from one of the other merchants). I am very pleased with this purchase, and I know I will have this vacuum for my car, boat, and house for many years to come.This particular 4.0 h.p. model comes with a number of accessories for detailing your car as well as for inflating air mattresses, etc. The vacuum also arrives with a document listing a number of additional accessories that can be purchased separately. By the way, it's worth purchasing the paper filters from Metro Vac instead of just using the cloth filter, so look into this too. (When you use the paper filter, that paper filter gets inserted inside the cloth filter to hold the paper filter in place).

Bought this little vac for my detail business. It has the power to do everything that I need to do. I highly recommend this for anyone serious about cleaning. For the price, don't let its size fool you!Stephen Edmonds

One of the two clips that hold the waste bag cover on kept falling off. The third time I had most of the dust bag contents back on the floor.Metro offered to repair it but I'd have to pay shipping; I returned it to Amazon instead.

Just purchased a METROVAC VAC N BLO 4.0 PEAK HP PORTABLE VACUUM CLEANER/BLOWER. Amazed to find there is no owner's manual or instructions regarding assembly of components, cannister cleaning or use of disposable collection bags. Because disposable collection bags were displayed with the unit I purchased two packages only to discover that won't work in this sweeper. They are being returned to Amazon. I've searched for appropriate disposable bags but have yet to identify an appropriate product. Also searched your website for owner's manuals, instruction sheets and disposable collection bags with no joy. All of this wasted effort and time could have been avoided with an appropriate owner's manual or instruction sheet.

I bought this for a car vac. I've only used it once so far, but it worked so much better than every other carvac i've ever used.Pros: small; powerful; easy to empty; sturdy buildCons: gets a little hot when in use for a while (however, it was hot in the garage, so i'm not sure how much that contributed)
