Hie podiatrist recommended these socks as he's in work boots all day and had developed a rash similar to athlete's foot. These socks are advertised to be made with a type of yarn that "transports moisture and heat from areas of highest to lowest concentration for a comfortable, thermally balanced sock." The sock also incorporates Microban, which fights the growth of odor causing bacteria to keep socks cleaner and fresher. My husband says they are comfortable as well as supportive and his feet don't get wet during the day nor do they get "tired and achy."
