I looked around for a good back lumbar cushion for my work at home set up and settled on this one after a reading a bunch of recommendations. It came and lives up to everyone's great praise. Its nice and soft but not too soft. Immediately I can feel the difference when sitting on my chair. My lower back pain has diminished greatly. Thinking about buying another one for my wife. The material is soft to the touch and has held up.

I have a desk job so I’m sitting for most of my 8 hour shifts. I did my research before deciding what brand to buy and the research paid off big time because this has been a life changing purchase for me. Now I did buy the seat cushion, the lumbar support, and the footrest all at the same time and literally on the first day of use I was finally able to leave my work shift without a sore back and numb feet. This is soft yet firm and lightweight enough to travel with. My sleep quality has improved because of no longer creating back and leg pain all day at work.

I ordered the seat cushion and this back support to use together for a very uncomfortable office chair. What I like: It's supportive to my back. Helps me retain my posture when working. Has a strap to hold it to the chair (see below). It pretty much fits the small chair I am using Works well with the seat cushion. The quality is good. Helps with back pain. What I don't like: It is not pleasing to look at - since I have to look at it every day, I wish I could cover it up with something else - bleh. The strap only tightens so far so if you have a small chair it won't stay put so I'm constantly adjusting it - it won't ever be tight enough to keep it where I want it. If I'm sitting against it, it'll pretty much stay but it's not completely ideal. The seat cushion was packed in a box but this came just in some plastic and that made me worry Amazon did it's thing of sending returned items as new - it looked new and didn't have any odor to it, but still that trust with Amazon isn't there any longer. I wish they had a 'set' price for the seat cushion and back cushion but they didn't for these two items I ordered. Super fast shipping (I do have Prime). Overall, I am happy with my order. The seat and this back cushion saved me from having to buy a new office chair.

Oh no....now I have to keep it because it is so comfortable. I was really hoping this would be as overpriced as I imagined so I could get something else, but it really is the best one I have tried. I have chronic low back and neck pain. I got this for the car but I can't stop using it on my recliner for long enough to try it in the car. I work with my hands and like to watch tv at the same time, but if I am not at my desk with my ergonomic chair then anywhere else I usually get debilitating back pain. I've been able to craft from the couch (yay?) in the evenings so I'd say this is a great investment in being able to walk without pain and get more done. Take the chance! I thought I wanted something that was around 8-9 inches so it wasn't too high, but this is the perfect size. It doesnt leave my upper body floating to support itself. I am 5'6. The memory foam is so sturdy and the fabric is soft.

When you first use this lower lumbar support pillow you will probably hate it like I did. Sitting may feel unnatural and you might find it hard to get comfortable, but that's kind of the point of this thing: it FORCES you to sit correctly. Once you give it a day or two to get accustomed to it you will find that the "comfortable" way you used to sit is what was causing your back pain all along. My lower back and tailbone haven't hurt in weeks since using this. I love it!

Quality is not the same as previous purchase. This recent back cushion is not as firm as the previous one. I seem to sink into the cushion especially if the day in warm, cold weather makes the cushion a little firmer, previous back cushion was firm, better quality and helped with some of my back pain, and supported my back better.

I’m a nurse recovering from a severe L4-L5 injury and sciatic pain, and these cushions have truly been a lifesaver. They’re the only way I can sit comfortably—I take them everywhere with me, including the car, doctor’s appointments, and even during my hospitalization. If I could afford more sets, I would buy them in a heartbeat.

A good balance between hardness and softness. But after sitting too long it pushes against the back of my ribcage. So its really better to put a small thin pillow in between you and the cushion lab. I've got both the Lumbar support and the donut cut out one extra thick. That one has been the best one I've ever sat on. Perfect balance. But anyways I like this one too just can feel a little stiff after a period if time.

I bought a Secretlabs chair and also bought this, and their seat cushion - it's changed my world. I have 3 other back cushions - and this is by far the best. If you have back trouble - I recommend this. Bought with their seat cushion - it has changed my life.

Excellent. Although the product is extremely expensive, it is thoroughly worth it & I cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s been a game changer for me, giving me much relief whilst sitting which I have been unable to do because of grave spinal issues. Extremely satisfied

Before I got this one, I tried few other popular lumbar supports on Amazon, nothing worked for me. Other lumbar pillows were all uncomfortable for it was too soft to support my back. This one is amazing, but if you are looking for something that is soft and comfortable, don't get this one. This is very firm and supportive. It feels like it also corrects my posture. I will give it a 5 star!

It provides support to my back but the material may not be ideal for hot weather.
