Healthy Breeds Pit Bull Avocado Herbal Dog Shampoo 16 oz

As all poodle owners know, poodles have extremely high maintenance hair/fur. If you do not use the correct shampoo it makes brushing a nightmare because they become highly more tangled and matted than normal. In addition to the obviously curly hair poodles have a lot have skin conditions in which finding a shampoo that does not irritate their dry, itchy skin even worse. I was skeptical at first about the shampoo, not because of bad reviews from the product, but from my experience with other shampoos that claimed to help with tangles and sensitive, dry skin.As soon as I received the product instantly I fell in love with the scent, it actually smells exactly like the professional product that our groomer uses, so that was a HUGE plus already. The same day I decided to give it a try, still skeptical, but within putting the product on him I immediately could tell a difference from the other shampoos I have tried. He immediately smelt better, his skin felt a lot less dry, and I could run my fingers through the coarser parts of his fur. It helped with the discoloring of his white fur without interfering with his black fur (he is a parti-poodle which means he is both white and black). I had to use A LOT less product then with other shampoos, (as poodles have a type of fur that repels water, not saying it kept his fur from repelling the water it just was easier to get this shampoo into his fur and on his skin than any other shampoo I had ever tried.) After I got him out of the tub to brush him, the brush went through MUCH easier than ever before! His fur and skin kept the Avocado scent MUCH MUCH longer than any other brand we have ever used, he smelt fresh until time for another bath, which has never been the case with him.I 100% recommend this brand of shampoo for anyone with a poodle, I have used both the bottle with the white poodle and the black poodle (both avocado scented) and neither has discolored him. Both have had the exact same results. Since trying this shampoo, probably around 1-2 years now I would never go back to using something else. The one time I did try a new shampoo (because it was cheaper), Burt's Bees, that was supposed to be all natural, detangling, and for the same issues we had with his fur; instead it caused serious matts in his fur. I will never try anything other than Natural Breed shampoo on my fur baby again! Also, (not sure if this is an additional issue with every poodle owner, but our poodles get fleas EXTREMELY bad and are super hard to get rid of) with this shampoo we have had no issues with interactions with any flea medications, we use the pills, topical, and the collar (because fleas are attracted to him like crazy, which has nothing to do with the shampoo bc it's been a problem since we've gotten him). Also he has licked the soap off himself, drank some of the soapy water, licked the bottle and has never had any issues caused by chemicals in this shampoo so it is super safe for curious dogs like mine. IMO this is the best thing on the market for poodles!I attached pictures of our fur baby so you can see the type of hair we are dealing with, that way you can get an idea of how wonderful this product really is when it comes to keeping his hair matt free.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this product for my two Pitties. It leaves them smelling clean and feeling clean for a few weeks. I’ve also purchased the avocado spray to help out with their fur. Love it but the only issue I’ve had both times is that they don’t seal the bottle correctly. The first time wasn’t that bad with soap on the outside of the bottle. Was sort of dried by the time I received it. This time, well I am going to return it because it’s all over the bottle and has a puddle of the soap on the bottom of bag. Thankfully the plastic bag that it came in was sealed shut with just a very small hole that leaked some outside of the bag or else it would have gotten on my other items I had purchased.

Does what is says - very well. Cleans well, gentle, very mild scent, leaves fur silky. Highly recommend if you have an ECS.

Git ths for my American bulldog puppy.we brought her from a farm in PA. And she smelled like it.it worked well for her 1ST bath with us.smelled great and lasted for a week(she loves playing in the dirt in my back yard).she's a short hair breed that don't need bathing every month..

This shampoo has been working great for my 12 1/2 year old Frenchie with sensitive skin. In the past after a bath, even with a medicated shampoo from the vet for his skin allergies, he would usually get the zoomies and not know what to do with himself from itchiness. After bathing him with this shampoo, he does the opposite. The Healthy Breeds Shampoo calms his itching immediately... no running around or rolling on the floor to scratch his back and no licking his paws right after a bath. He just curls up and lays down and is relaxed. I even used it on my senior chihuahua who had the same skin issues from allergies and would react the same way after baths with other shampoos and ant- itch products . I had the same positive results when bathing her with this shampoo as well.

I liked the idea of a shampoo made especially for the fur of a BichonFrise, but none of the ingredients are actual cleansers.

Smell so good! And there was leaking the cup and doesn't matter. But they are smelling so good. I ordered it many times.

Amazing shampoo! My aussie has never been so fluffy and soft in his 14 years. It loosened some of the mats and just did a phenomenal job! I’ll definitely be ordering again. I even used on my other pup and she’s not a dual coat. So soft and stopped her itching. So thankful I ordered this shampoo!
