24V Switching Power Supply

I bough an Anycubic Kobra 3 new this year [bad choice]. After a few months it stopped working . would not power on or if powered on would cut out in a few seconds and then dont power back one. there was a red light blinking at bottom on motherboard. Support said it was the motherboard and I replaced the motherboard but still had the issue. I asked them to send the power supply but it was taking too long so I bought this after checking the specs. This was a good buy. It fits in and has the same profile and screw holes/placement. The printer worked and it resolved the problem (at least for now). I have used the printer for the last two weeks and it holds up. So this does deliver enough power for a 400W device. I have bought a few power supplies in the past for various reasons mostly LED lights and for electrical work. The quality of this product appears to be the on the lower end. The frame came slightly dented. The quality of the screw ins at the leads were basic; if you use it multiple times the threads would wear. And I could not find any real listing labels. Usually with cheaper power supplies something either burns out or stops functioning after a few months to a year. I expect I may have to replace this after 6 months to a year depending on how much I use it. But at this price, and for this application (my 3D printer), i think it was a good buy.

Inexpensive but extremely reliable power supply.

There appears to be serious issues with this power supply. Although my model does put out a pretty stable and usable +24V supply; the AC supply in does not have a connection between the earth terminal and the chassis. This creates the possibility for a hazardous situation where, in the event of failure, the power supply itself could become energized and cause electric shock. While this is a good price for the power supply, the safety hazards involved simply make it unusable.

I measured and this PS puts out the adtvertised power. Time will tell if it is durable. I will change this review if it turns out to be faulty, but I expect it will last. I have had it running for 3 days non-stop now and it still delivers the power advertised. If you want to save a few $'s this looks like a good bet.

Great product! Just what I needed!

Had no problem with the item.

I purchased this powersupply new, I received a unit that had the warranty seal broken, and signs of repair performed. Unit works, fan runs all the time. I believe documentation states the fan should come on as required, not just when the PSU is on. Because the seal was broken i can only assume there was no QC performed or the seal would have been replaced. Problems are negligible, but not really what I ordered.

Purchased this product for a CNC plasma table build. Power supply was defective rigth out of the box. Could not return it due to too .much elapsed time between purchase and first use. I opened the power supply.... 2 of 5 retension screws were missing from securing the circuit board to the metal housing.
