It does recharge fairly fast
The LIR batteries may be the culprit, not the charger itself. And not just the batteries I bought with the charger since I had 2 LIR rechargeable batteries and they're doing the same thing, running out of juice excessively fast. Since the beginning of this pandemic, I've put battery tea lights in our windows in support of all the essential workers, leave them on all night. We'd been using the non-rechargeable batteries but thought it may be better if we bought the more expensive rechargeable ones. The non-rechargeable batteries would go all night, for 3 nights running before they began to run out of the juice and have to be replaced. These rechargeables don't even make it through 1 night, always dead by morning. That's ok for now but hate to rely on them for more important things that run on these type batteries. The charger itself works just fine, plugged it into my computer USB port and the batteries are recharged in about 2 hours. I suspect, like all these lithium batteries, the trick is to let the batteries run completely out before recharging, and even then, they will only recharge for a very limited number of times before they died completely. Considering you can get about 100 of the non-rechargeable 2032 batteries for less then this unit costs, and the non-rechargeables last longer, not sure if this is a real good deal or not--console myself by repeating "at least there will be fewer dead batteries to have to dispose of properly."

Works as intended
Charges any button style battery that is able to be recharge.

A good cheap option for rechargeable batteries, but I have my doubts.
The batteries appear to work in my Apple AirTags, which take a 3v battery. They came nearly completely charged, a suprise as most are drained on arrival. However, the small 45mah capacity and likely too fast 40mah charger, the time that this battery lasts may be low and it probably will wear out fast. It's still probably better than normal cr2032 batteries in terms of value, though.

These batteries destroyed 2 LED lamps I had where normal 2032s worked for many months.
I have several small LED lights and was hoping to use rechargeable batteries to power them. Each lamp requires 2 2032 batteries. Using all 4 of the set I received, two of the lamps blew out the LED in a second. Both lamps had worked with normal, disposable 2032s for a couple years.

I can't recommend this
I suppose it's ok for what it is and the price, but 45mah is very poor for a 2032. Almost isn't worth it, as regular precharged 2032's have much more energy. This charger isn't a smart charger, the lights turn green when the cells are charged, but will keep charging if left in unit. Micro USB instead of C. Incredibly cheap plastic, probably a knock off. Have to adjust one side in order for cell to charge correctly.
