Imperial Tool 364FHA08 Lever Type Tube Bender for 1/2" O.D. Tubing

Great quality, also great for copper but if you’re bending stainless tubing it needs longer arms on it for more leverage but so far it’s held up okay for what little stainless tubing that I bend. Other than heavy stainless tubing it’s a great tool!!

Sturdy and well made by a long established company. Produces nice clean bends. Handles provide the proper amount of leverage. Does exactly what it was designed to do. Made is USA.

Very Sturdy Bender! 1/2” tubing is tough to bend, but this bender worked flawlessly, make sure to study and follow the directions that come with the bender!!!Awesome Tool!

I honestly thought I was buying a quality tool. This thing is not up to the task of bending stainless steel. First, the handles are too short. I had to put one handle in a bench vise to be able to control the tool. Second, the clamp slips, causing bends to kink. I countered that problem with a set of vice grips I used as a positive stop (marring my tubing I might add). Finally, the die split on my third bend, probably trying to counter the tubing kinking. The die appears to be made from a weak cast material. If you're looking to bend stainless, keep looking. If you're bending something softer, buy a less expensive tool.

A bit pricey, but worth every penny. The ability to make very tight bends in 3/16 brake line was worth the price I paid. Lines look professional and zero kinks. I’ve wasted my money on lesser quality benders and have been disappointed with each of them for various reasons. If you need to make tight bends up to 180 degrees (with as little as a 7/16” radius), then this is the tool for you. Sure, it only does one size, but it does it the best. Would I buy again? Absolutely!!

This tool made bending 3/8 stainless line quite easy. I previously owned a cheaper multi size smaller tubing bender and it was extremely difficult to use with 3/8 line. Definitely worth the cost of the tool to get good results.

Makes nice bends with good quality tubing. Cheap tubing will kink, not the tools fault, but my local Napa had some lesser quality tubing mixed in the bunch I got and the cheaper stuff kinked, the stronger tubing bent perfectly.

Worked well on 1/4 stainless steel brake lines. Much harder to bend than other lines.

Work really good

Used this bender to make a new set of transmission cooler lines. Straightening the raw tube is key in obtaining the best results when using a spool of bulk tubing. This bender worked perfectly for my application. Might not be so well suited for thick wall stainless steel tubing.
