Review: Just doesn't really get any better than this - So I had a 14" and a 10" pipe wrench pair, made in china, bought some years ago from I don't even remember who. I recently dropped the 14" wrench from about chest height onto concrete and it snapped the moveable jaw right in half. I consider that a lucky break actually, the jaw could have snapped when I had all my weight behind it and then I might have broken my stupid moveable jaw instead, Fact is, I don't use pipe wrenches very often or I'd have replaced those wrenches long ago. As a general rule I don't buy cheap crap tools and I was kinda embarrassed to own such junk. So I tossed both wrenches in the trash and bought a pair of these wrenches to replace them. You can't really find a better pipe wrench than these wrenches from Rigid. They're made in the USA and they're no more expensive than any other quality pipe wrench. Pretty much a no brainer, BUY this wrench if you need one, you won't be disappointed and you won't have to be worrying about your stupid jaw either.
Review: Great quality. - What can I say. Great quality.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this pipe wrench made in the USA?**
A: Actually, yes...which is one of the main reasons why I purchased it.

**Q: Are these made in the usa still? it is jan.18, 2021. thanks!!!**
A: The ones we carry are made in the USA

**Q: Will this provide me with any help in trying to remove a stripped faucet stem valve?**
A: Not exactly sure what you mean by "faucet stem valve ", but in general a 14" pipe wrench would probably be a bit of overkill on the basic kitchen/ bath faucet.
But, if you need a pipe wrench, get a RIDGID and forget the rest.

**Q: What is the max width of opening?**
A: I just measured it and it's 2-3/4 max width opening.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality.

What can I say. Great quality.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ USA Built
*by S***T on October 12, 2021*

Great tool, but heavy. Good quality and paint finish. Made in USA. 14" Pipe Wrench opens to 2-3/4" without over extending. Used it on 1-1/2" threaded iron plumbing pipe seized / rusted connections in the house and on broken seized sink valves. Make sure to wipe it down and keep it oiled / WD-40 after messing with water pipes. Lifetime handle warranty by Ridgid and it works with a cheater pipe. If you're worried about water and rust or need something lighter to handle get the aluminum model, but then don't use a cheater.
