Review: Lovely cake pan, great cakes - Very well made and makes for spectacular individual cakes. Had no problem getting them out as long as you apply spray and flour before baking.
Review: Awesome design. Zero sticking problems. - I've used this pan probably a dozen times now, and have had ZERO problems with unmolding the "cakelettes." I just spray with coconut oil, and that's it. No flouring necessary. I'm not sure why people are having trouble unmolding - but it happens so quickly that I have to put the cooling rack on top of the pan, then flip it. Otherwise they just fly out of the pan. I've used it with gluten free recipes as well as regular wheat flour, and both work equally well. I also have the full-size version of this pan, and it's amazing. Never had a sticking issue with it, either - or any of my Nordic Ware pans, actually. With my previous bundt pan, I've "lost" numerous cakes when they've broken in half upon unmolding (using the same recipes). Great design that gets a lot of attention. Nice, even baking since the pan is VERY thick and heavy. Highly recommended. Wish I had two or three!

**Q: Would you need two of these pans for a recipe so you don't have to refill one pan.**
A: Yes, I would buy 2. All 6 cavities together will hold 4 cups of batter, meaning approx. 2/3 cup of batter per bundtlette. If you have an 8-cup bundt cake recipe, that will use 2 pans perfectly. Mine was a 12-cup recipe, but still only bought 2 pans--they are a bit unwieldy to need to store all 3, so I compromised with 2. Hope this helps!

**Q: Can these be used for individual ice cream scoops?   I love my large one and thought it might be fun to freeze ice cream scoops too?**
A: I would line them individually with saran wrap before I put the ice cream in it.  Unless you have another way to make sure it comes out.  Sounds like a very fun idea.

**Q: If I use a regular full size bundt rum cake recipe, how many of these mini pans will it fill?**
A: The mini pan holds 4 cups batter creating 6 items.  If you mean a 12 cup bundt pan.  That would be 18 items and you would fill the pan 3 times.If you mean a 10 cup bundt pan.  That would be 15 items.  The formula: cup size volume of large pan divide by 4 cups (size of mini pan).  This will tell you how many time to fill the pan. Multiply this number by 6 (number of items in the mini pan).  This will tell you how many items you will get.  Hope all this helps.

**Q: Will one six-bundltlette pan hold all the batter from a regular box of prepared cake mix?**
A: I don't use prepared cake mix so I can't give you an answer about that specifically. I can tell you that each bundlette cavity holds about 3/4 cup of batter. What you can do if you are using a prepared cake mix is to fill each cavity no more than 3/4 full (if you overfill then it will spill over when baking and be very difficult to remove the baked cakes from the pan). With the leftover batter, bake however many cupcakes you get out of it, depending on the size of your muffin pans.

Nordic Ware Heritage Bundtlette Cake Pan, Metallic When I first caught a glimpse of the cover of Better Homes and Gardens 100 Pumpkin Recipes magazine, it was all over but the ordering. This pan is used for making the pumpkin goodies on that very cover. This pan performed far better than I expected, though an initial run is advised before promising sweets for friends and family, just in case. Due to fluctuations in recipes, it is sometimes difficult to gauge a first-time recipe, so you may be uncertain of the amount of batter. Too much, and you may end up with a pillow. Too little, and the cakes won't pick up the delicate swirls of this beautiful pan. I used Baker's Joy spray, which contains flour, to coat the pans prior to filling, and had absolutely no problem dumping out the little cakes after baking. Not one bit sticky. Clean-up should not be an issue. I simply filled the cups with warm, soapy water after baking, and then used a gentle brush to swish out any stubborn bits. My advice? Purchase two pans, so you can bake the entire batch at once. A great investment for extra-special memories. Oh, and don't forget to grab a few packages of Lock & Lock's HPL932.
