It takes time and patience to set up correctly, quality is good though.
Quality is solid, but these require a fair bit of adjustment to run smoothly. It includes paper gaskets and shims to adjust it properly. I had to use 4 gaskets initially for the rear axle, but after running for a bit got it down to 2 gaskets and one shim behind the pinion gear.I'd really recommend watch a few different videos on how to set them up. One video said put the outer shafts (where the wheels bolt in) all the way to the outside, another said all the way to the inside. To the inside worked much better for me.Bottom line, you can't just bolt these together and expect them to work, I probably assembled and disassembled a half dozen time to adjust them properly before finally putting a drop of thread locker on top of the grub screws. Thread lock not included, but an absolute must, just a drop of blue over the already tightened screws will thankfully work fine. But the quality is nice.

Hard to adjust but works great
Hard to adjust when assembling but works great when done

These suck
The steering links where too long so the alignment was messed up and came with no instructions

Be prepared to work on it not just assemble.
After a decent amount of hours I made it work but there were modifications made to the axle housing (front) and also shaft since they were longer. The shaft was shortened at least 4 mm on one side and ground flat to recess the U joint so at the time of turning it would not bind, bearing had to be recessed a few millimeters (3-4mm) in for proper fit (don’t recommend a regular drill bit or you’ll end up having to mill deeper due to angle of bit and doing so you’ll weaken the axle housing (I’m not a machinist by any means just did what I thought was proper). If you do mill anything or hold it on a vise BEWARE the housing will deform causing the bearings to not fit anymore, so if you secure in a vise make sure the bearing is held somehow inside and use differential cover too to hold it together, but don’t go crazy on pressure or will damage the bearing (didn’t happen to me but can see it happening). The one thing I’ll mention also is that I went through all this because the bushings seemed better made than typical RC4WD steering bushings with a lot of play, this WPL have little to none when installed (could have made simply a larger hole to accommodate but didn’t want the sloppiness ).Overall is not for the people not willing to work on the parts (why should you? since you’re paying for a “ready to install product “ ) I simply didn’t want to deal with the return process and also believe I could not find any information to contact the seller for an exchange that’s also what forced me to work on this kit.

Careful assembly required, but works good
This metal axle upgrade is good, but careful assembly is required. You can find cheaper metal axles from no-name manufactures, but you are unlikely to find replacement parts that will fit.Since WPL sells replacement parts for these axles, I believe the WPL metal axle upgrade is a better purchase than lower cost no-name metal axles.

Don't buy this unless you have a machine shop.
Like others have said, some parts need lots of modification to work.Very generally the quality is okay, but the fit of various pieces is pretty bad. In my case the front steering knuckles and axles will not fit together after working on it for about a week. I did plenty of grinding with a dremel, a drill, a drill press, files. Now one side will go together but is still so tight it binds so much it will barely turn.I would return it but that's a different kind of hassle and I think if I just keep removing material maybe it will work.I wish I had purchased the official metal axles directly from WPL.

Junk nothing is threaded right , put one axel together and when together it doesn't spin,!
I have spent so much money on these wpl parts to (upgrade) my truck when at the end of the day the pastic junk is better then these parts!

Rusted in the packaging.
All of the parts made of steel were rusted. The front axle steering components were completely seized.
