REDECKER Extra Long Beechwood Bath Brush - Natural Pig Bristle Body Brush for Showering, Back Scrubbing, Exfoliating, Dry Brushing and Lymphatic Drainage - Perfect for Hard-to-Reach Areas

My brother gave me an Amazon gift card for Christmas so I decided to get something I normally would not buy ... like an expensive body brush for the shower. I've been using the $8 and $9 brushes from Wal Mart and let me tell you ... after using this brush, I'll never use anything less, ever again. The handle is thick and solid ... real sturdy. The bristles are pig hair (according to the description) and they are densely packed, unlike the cheaper brushes. I use Dove for Men Exfoliating body wash with this brush. It foams up really well and one application lasts the entire shower. I can't believe how great I feel now when stepping out of the shower. This brush is really nice ... a tad bit expensive ... but nice. I'm sold.

Been using this for about a week now and wonder why I never used one before. First of all, I can now easily reach my back and know I am doing a more thorough cleaning! It is also great everywhere else on my body. The bristles are soft and massage the skin. It feels great! Washing my feet has never been so easy. I read a lot of reviews, and understand the biggest complaints. I am no stranger to Redecker all natural brushes. Some are untreated and will wear quicker than wood coated with chemicals. Someone mentioned using a katana like sword movement to fling out the water when done bathing. This works extremely well. I can shower at 11pm and by the next morning, it's near completely dry. If you don't fling it out, don't hang it to dry, don't have proper ventilation, I would expect it to wear much quicker. Some of my Redecker brushes last a few years, some only 6 months. It all depends on how I am using them. The great thing is when they wear out, I just compost them and do not contribute to landfill waste.

I suffer from back acne do to oily dry skin. I've been trying different brushes from different stores (walmart, target, bed bath and beyond, etc, etc) i really need a brush that is rough enough to remove the dry skin but soft enough to not hurt me. THIS is the absolute best brush to date. Pricey which is understandable because its VERY well made and imported. However it works like a charm. I am acne free after one week of use. I honestly couldn't be happier. I saw alot of reviews talking about mold. Wood can turn dark from water saturation like drift wood so dont sweat it.Here's a tip on how to maintain your brush.When finished using, rinse it real real good it only takes a second. Then turn it bristles sideways and give it a solid flick to the ground. (Like a samurai flicking blood off his sword.) Then turn it bristles down and run your finger back and forth a couple times through the bristles to flick of the rest of the water. Then hang it up. Make sure it can get a little air to finish drying out and you should never have mold problems. I personally just leave my shower open like i normally do and have it hanging.No regrets, hands down the best I've found and I've been trying new ones for years.

Very much liked the quality of this product. Not a dislike but I wish that the manufacturer would offer the option of a slightly curved handle. In order to reach those hard to reach areas of the back. Good product otherwise.

My old brush, that I bought in a local store, was ok but after a few years it needed to be replaced. I bought this one because of its reviews. It's softer than my old one and very well made. I love the softness because it cleans well without being scratchy. The handle is a couple of inches longer, too. That's very nice for taller people. As an older person that isn't as flexible as I used to be, I use it for my feet, too. It costs more than most, but well worth the price. I don't know how long it will last, but when the time comes, I'll buy another of the same.

This brush is superior in all ways to any other I have tried. Its length makes it easy to reach the back. The bristles are soft but durable.

Great brush. Good length, good bristles but too soon to tell

This is the second time I have purchased this brush. I wore the first one out. The handle is long enough so that you can reach your entire back. The bristles are firm (not hard) enough to give your back a good scrubbing and it takes care of all the itchy spots. It costs a little more than most, but to me it is worth it.This is an update. I ordered this on 11/2/2022. Already the bristles are falling out. So disappointed. The last one lasted over 2 years. I guess quality has taken a dive.
