CarlyClip Styling Tool New & Improved!!! Fine & Medium Natural Hair (Brown)

What a treasure I've found--I absolutely love this hair clip! I have naturally curly hair (and a lot of it!) and clips frequently break from the weight of all my hair when trying to wear it up. This clip is sturdy and does not "pop" out of my hair like most clips do when I've tried to pull all of my hair into a full, curly ponlytail. The other great thing about this clip is that I can wear it all day and it does not give me a headache! I also like that you cannot see the clip. The hair closest to my scalp slides through the teeth and my curls cover up all of the clip. It does take some practice at first use, to pull the clip around your hair--it is hard plastic and does not stretch--get all of your hair into the teeth, and then there is some awkwardness in getting the two end pieces to hook together. But do not let that deter you because after only a couple of tries I got the hang of it. I also had to wait until after I had the clip in to apply hair spray. If I tried to spray my hair before putting the clip in, I could not get the teeth through my hair. I will definitely be ordering another one!

The density, length, and texture of your hair should be considered before purchasing this product. It's very small. I would not purchase this product again.

I like the idea and it is more economical then the other natural hair holder I have seen on the market however it is too small. Unless this is being used for a child there is no way my hair fit into this holder. I don't have thick hair either. Also, it was hard closing the clasp. I think this would work better if it were larger.

I almost did not purchase this hair holder because of the one star review but I'm glad I took the chance and gave it a go. I aboulutly LOVE this clip. It's very gentle of the hair and though it seems fragile it's actually very strong. I have natural fine, medium density, 3b to 3c hair don't know if this makes a difference but it holds my hair very well. I usually cannot sleep with any form of hair holders in my hair but I can with this one. There's no need to be rough when using it as with other holders because it will get the job done. There will be no snagging of the hair in any way. I really cannot understand how it could possibly break with one use. I have tons of hair holders but this one is the only one I feel sure will not damage my hair. I'm here to purchase another one.

I have a love hate with this. I have an old one that I dearly love but who knew what size it was. No way to find out. I think I would absolutely love this if I had ordered one size down. It holds the hair alright but the size down would do a better job

I plan on returning this product. The product is made of a very cheap plastic and doesn't expand or take in consideration those with thinner hair. I ordered two and was very disappointed that shipping was more than the cost of the product. I rated it one (1) only because I was forced to select a number.

The clip was significantly smaller than I assumed. It was barely able to contain my hair and clipping it shut was very awkward.
