These NiMH batteries are almost twice the capacity of the original NiCds, & also seem to retain a charge better (longer than NiCd) as they age. Glad they are availble!

They seem to be as good as ones I've used in the past.
They hold a charge nicely. They seem to be perfect.

Happy customer
I had given up on my Firestorm tools as I could buy new tools for less than the cost of a new battery before I found these. They seem to work fine and for less than half the cost of the batteries I found previously. Time will tell, but I am happy so far.

Good so far
Obviously - only time will tell if the battery is good or not. For now, they charge up nicely and last noticeably longer than my old batteries.

DON'T BUY
I am not one to write reviews but I want to save someone from wasting money on these batteries. These were barely used and well maintained and BOTH batteries didn't even last 4 months!!!! And guess what...you can't return them...talk about terrible customer service.

Took a while for the first charge but that's not a complaint because I used one after that for most of the day and it's still working fine. I'd easily compare it to an OEM battery in usage. I haven't had it long enough to say anything about the number of charging cycles but up to this point they seem to be a quality product and would handle the job well. The only tiny glitch I found is that the battery had to be "driven home" to lock into place the first time but after you do it once you'll know what to expect going further.
