Excellent Product
I am very impressed with the quality of the hardware and how quickly I was able to actually understand and use the software. Within a few hours I had the basics figured out and was recording and analyzing data. Worth the extra cost - which is very reasonable for the capabilities this tool has. You get what you pay for. The addition of the light on the connector is a smart feature. Makes it easy to plug in to that connector under the darkest dash board. You won’t be disappointed.

Quality Scanner
This scanner Innova 5610 OBD2 scanner saved me a trip to the dealer and probably several hundred dollars. Basically, I think I got a bad fill-up at my fueling station. The check engine light illuminated, and with the scanner, I was able to identify and fix two codes. After a good dose of diesel fuel additive and a new fuel filter, no more DTCs and no more problems. The dealer would have raked me over the coals.

Mostly great, with caution on ABS side
A SOLID code reader, but it has limitations. I bought this to replace my $30 cheapo code reader, and for that, this Innova unit is excellent. It's much quicker on startup and connection than my cheapie, with a bigger, brighter screen. It has several useful options. However, I have to deduct a star because it can't do computer brake bleed required by my son's 2013 Toyota Prius. After a manual brake bleed, it would walk me through the setup process, I'd click next to start, and it would instantly display a failure notice without saying why. Innova customer service was less than stellar because asking them just got me a reply on how to manually bleed brakes. (sigh) I removed the brake booster and pump, reinstalled them again in case I got something wrong, but nope. Finally had it towed to the dealership and Techstream got it done instantly. Ah well, still a mostly good tool for the money.

auto scan tool
this is a great scanner has helped with our cars, you can have it plugged in and it will do diagnostics while you are driving, gives really good read outs. does so many things that I'm still learning how to work and read it all. Glad I purchased it!

Great Upgrade/Addition to the Garage!
I do all my own work on my vehicles, and I needed a better, more up-to-date scanner, especially one that can handle the newer electronic systems found on modern vehicles. I recently replaced the rear brakes on one of my 2020 Ford Escape Hybrids, which has electronic parking brakes. You must put the system into parking brake service mode, which is straightforward. What I didn't know is that when you take it back out after everything is fixed, all the ABS settings are all confused and out of whack. My old scanner doesn't support a reset. After poring over reviews on many different scanners, I threw a dart and bought this one. It worked flawlessly, reset all the ABS and battery errors! The 5610 is bi-directional, so I'm looking forward to being able to diagnose problems better and tweaking some things on my diesel truck and my wife's Wrangler. It was easy to use, bluetooth to my phone, and has a ton of features, I probably won't need to use most, but it was worth the extra money to ensure it did everything I will ever need it to do, and prevent me from painfully bringing it to a dealer who will way over charge and not stand behind or own up to any mistakes they might make. (happens a lot more than you might think)

A high end scanner at an affordable price.
This scanner does exactly what it says it does. I linked it to my 2016 Cherokee Limited which ABS issues. The "Live Data" read out on each individual wheel should the problem in the left rear wheel signal. Saves the guess work !Well worth the money. You get what you pay for.

Wish it did more, but it did help diag and clear some codes.
Wife's car, a 2012 Camry threw a CEL. Within a few seconds of plugging it in, I had a trouble code and it showed cam advance unexpected or something to that effect. Ran a test for the VVL system to phase the cams back and forth, and it seemed to do what it was supposed to, so calling it a fluke and cleared the code. Went through other areas and cleared a couple more minor codes it reported. Disappointment, it couldn't clear the maintenance required light (related to oil changes) - but instead provided the instruction. My car, a 2019 Mustang GT, no CEL or anything, but was curious if it had anything. Sure did. I recall maybe a few months back, I had overfilled the gas tank more than usual and the engine sort of hiccupped and then I got a ton of dash warnings about different systems not working. Well, those showed up in the scanner. Quickly cleared them. The part I wish it could do was that it showed some data sections that were grayed out and unable to edit; one in particular related to tire revolutions per mile, something I need to adjust as I got slightly larger diameter tires recently, would be helpful. For the price, and considering one can hit a autoparts store and pull codes for free, it's a bit hard to swallow the cost, but, I also like playing with things, so this kind of fits the in between of it being a tool and an expensive toy/tinker.I will say it was easy to use; I didn't need to read a manual, just connect it to the ODB-II port and it powers up and starts scanning for ECU modules to then check for codes.
