I have the new eon 712. how do you tighten the speaker onto the pole so that it doesn't spin?

Hello, Because there is no threading involved there will be a level of "spinning" that is available to you when you place the speaker on the speaker pole. This is so that you can adjust the speaker in the direction that you need the sound to be projected. If it was so tight as to have no spin at all, you would also find it extremely difficult to remove the speaker from the stand when you are finished using it. However, if you are unhappy with the overall fit of the speaker on the stand and do desire a tighter fit. Many customers have reported to us that wrapping electrical tape in Layers on the end of the pole will allow you to "Customize" the fit. Electrical tape is just thin enough to be durable and assist in providing a secure fit.

Where can we purchase a 36 mm adapter? We bought the speaker mount and it doesn’t fit correctly.

Hello, To make a correction to another commenter's statement; There are two pins that do release the adapter. However, this Adapter is 35mm to 38mm. 38mm is the diameter of the outside pole, while 35mm is the diameter of the adapter that is nested within the outside pole. We have found that in the rare cases where a 36mm is needed, wrapping electrical tape around the 35mm adapter is a suitable fix. Electrical tape is very durable while being very thin and allows you to add just enough to hit the 35mm diameter. If you have any other questions, please reach out to us directly. Thanks!
