Great so far!
Been running this for about 5 months with an 83” OLED. Will fit 85-90”. Looks great, plenty bright, no issues so far. It also allows for color changes and dimming. I like that the stripping is black, as it blends in with the back of the TV more. Peel and stick installation is simple and holds well. RF remote control operated, so you can turn it off manually. I have a Sony TV, which doesn’t play nice with USB lighting, so I like that I can turn it on and off with a remote rather than unplugging it. Well worth the money. Other bias light kits cost a lot more.

Bright & vibrant. Take your time installing, and it'll look awesome.
I purchased and returned a different, cheaper brand of led lights because some of the bulbs were incorrect colors (didn't match the others), and the remote rarely worked at all. I researched online and decided to give this brand a shot. I was nervous, but these work perfectly. Colors are vibrant, consistent, and bright. Remote works perfectly. The corners are tricky to do. My wife and I were worried we were going to damage the light strip by overfolding or crimping too much, so we left the corners slightly raised - i.e. not completely fastened to the back of the tv. The adhesive on the rest of it was enough to keep it all in place. We plugged it in to the back of the tv for power, but when the tv is off, the lights turn off. So we re-worked it to be powered via a cable to a wall charger. It now only turns on and off by the remote, which is what we wanted. Finally, I googled how to cut the strip because we had an extra 12 inches at the end. I would recommend you check where to cut it before cutting it. It was easy, but I'm glad I checked first... I probably would've guessed wrong. Overall, I was nervous about how this would look and work, but it looks and works really great. Very happy.

Good Value for Price
The bias lighting strips were easy to apply and look great. I have noticed a decrease in tension headaches at the end of the night while watching tv in the evening. We enjoy the orange light for having a fireplace on for ambience, and for playing video games. The white light is perfect for watching tv in the evening to reduce eye strain, and therefore also reducing tension headaches, which is why I wanted bias lighting. I am disappointed that sometimes the lights do not turn on or off on automatically with the use of the tv, say about 10% of the time. Some of the remote functions also do not work, specifically the encoding so it lights in accordance with what is on screen. But for the price point of these lights, I am not that worried about it as I have the functionality that was most important to me, and the color temperature of the white lights is accurate. I also like that the lights can be dimmed or brightened to your preference. Overall, these lights are great for the price point.

Cheap, delicate tape strip
Very delicate strip. I was installing and routing behind my tv and the strip broke apart at a location other than the cut seams. It then lost power to the section beyond the break. I tried to return, but I was installing a few weeks after receiving because I was working on the wall and tv mount. Simply pulling off from a mock up mounting to straighten the strip and it broke very easily. This caused the last 3 ft to not light up. I attempted all return options offered by Amazon, but the product has no returns after 30 days. The brightness (while it was working) was below average and you can see the individual dots in a back lit set up. I don't want a refund, I just wanted an exchange, but that is not even an option. Over all, very cheap

HAMlite LED Backlight
Aside from the size and weight of the 85‑inch TV, the installation process is straightforward. The LED brightness isn’t strong enough for well‑lit daytime viewing, but it performs exceptionally well in dark environments. Overall, I’m very satisfied with its cost and performance. Super honest review. WHITE lights. You read right.
I got this for our TV. You should too. Here's why- Besides all the obvious benefits of having a bias lighting system for your TV (reduced eye strain, richer blacks/contrast, perfect ambient lighting for occasions and holidays), this Hamlite's white setting is TRUE WHITE. Let me explain the caps... Before this Hamlite strip, we were big fans of Luminoodle. Used them for years. We recently got a new TV so we needed a new strip, but alas Luminoodle was out of stock on the size we needed. So I went on the hunt. Luminoodle was the only brand I knew at the time that its white setting was a true white, around 6000K, and not some weird off white. This Hamlite is 6500. White. Let me repeat that. White. Before stumbling upon the Hamlite strip, I went through 2 other vendors first and they were all just terrible! Yeah they had fun remotes (our Luminoodle before didn't have a remote. I hear they do now) and colors and blah, blah. The problem was all their whites weren't even white! It was this weird clearly slightly blueish white. SO annoying. Should've known when none of them disclosed their Kelvins anywhere. Personally, I have to have white for most viewing content so it doesn't influence color perception, so needless to say this was a deal maker for me on the Hamlite. Point is, get this strip. You can modify brightness, change colors, multiple modes, strong adhesive, black strip (which is another + over the luminoodle, which was white- the Hamlite is stealth) long enough to make a complete circle around our 65" screen (another + , you wouldn't believe how many strips claim a large size and then don't even go all the way around >_<) decent sized remote, all delivered in an airtight sealed package. I will definitely be buying Hamlite moving forward. A tad on the pricier end of bias lights, but you get what you pay for with this. And that, in my opinion, is perfection. Will update this review should the product not hold up. Thanks for reading.

Defective?
This tv bias lighting has a mind of its own. It won't stay on the setting you put it in and randomly changes to whatever color it pleases. I bought it to help with staying awake while watching the screen in a dark room, since bias lighting was recommended, but it's useless. I gave it an extra star because although the lighting is useless, I do like the colors showing through the back of the screen, but it does get annoying that I can't keep the color that's most helpful. I also like that it connects to the back of your screen and it turns off when you turn the screen off, but even then there's problems, because even that is not consistent. Sometimes the bias light stays on when the power on the screen is off, and last night I even witnessed a maneuver of colors changing after turning the screen off. Maybe I just got a defective one.

I am torn with this product.
I am torn with this product. My roommate got this and put it on the back of his tv and it looks amazing. He has a 50” and it is perfect for him. It sticks well to the back of the tv and the lighting seems extremely bright which is what he wants. It’s bright to the point it hurts my sensitive eyes on the high settings - but it can also dim down quite a bit. So with all this - I had to get myself one. The idea is brilliant. I can’t stand lights right in front of you or like - on the side and in your peripheral vision. It’s murder on my eyes. So the backlight is an absolutely wonderful idea. A person with sensitive eyes - or anyone in general - would love these. There are quite a few lighting color choices and brightness levels. Plus they have different blinking modes which don’t serve me at all but I’m sure some people will love that. My issues are as follows though: 1. As I said - my roommate and I each got one. They seem to run on the same frequency. So far we haven’t found a way to change this and I apologize if there is a way and I don’t know of it yet. So when my roommate changes his settings - in a separate room many feet away with multiple walls and closed doors between us (a bathroom between us too just for reference) - the one remote will change both of our sets of lights. This is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. We are opposites - I want my lights dim and I micromanage things - I change the lights and brightness constantly depending on the time of day (light outside) or the type of movie — due to sensitivity and it screws up his settings which he doesn’t want touched ever. Keep this in mind if you have more than one in a home. I don’t know how far it stretches - if another apartment near us had one I wonder if it could interfere also. 2. The remote is kinda nice and kinda meh. Parts of the remote are responsive and do what you want. The buttons change the basic colors easily and the brightness levels. Some of the buttons on my remote do absolutely nothing that I can see. I press them and literally nothing discernible happens. The remote could be a lot better. It would be better if the remote lit up so you could see it with your room lights off. It could also be more user-friendly with some of the mode buttons. Overall it works for the basics of what you need it for. I guess you could get an app but I don’t want tons of apps for random things so it’s not for me. I want the remote to work personally. 3. The size of cable is really off. My roommate’s set is perfect and he has it laid out near the edge all around his entire tv. The cable does not bend well like the picture shows on amazon - the corners are a little terrible but we could just suck at putting them on lol. Maybe someone else would have an easier time. Ours bunch out and don’t look very nice but you’re not really seeing the back of the tv, so, oh well. With those two things above - I have a 55” tv. This cable is like .... 4” from the outside edge of my tv and it is short by like 8”. It’s a massive gap in the lighting on the back which makes it uneven and ugly if you ever look at the back for anything. If you have 55”+ tv get a bigger cable - this absolutely won’t fit. Because parts of the remote don’t work for me and the lights just don’t fit my tv at all, I will probably be returning this product. I am unsure if I will get a bigger replacement.

easy to install and works great
It applies to the back of the TV very easily. The yellow light is just enough to give the room enough light to get around without interfering with the picture on the screen.

Bias lighting
Perfect length for my television. Easy to attach and gives a good amount of bias lighting. Would definitely recommend.

This bias lighting checks all the boxes!
I just installed these LED strips on my Sony 65” A8H TV. I had a few criteria when selecting my bias lighting: 1. Must have a dedicated white 6500k LED 2. Must have colour LED (more for fun) 3. Must be dimmable 4. Must be a black strip to blend into the back of the tv. You would be surprised how hard it is to find an LED strip that meets those requirements. Thankfully I came across the Hamlite set and so far I am pretty happy with them. The LEDS are very bright and the colors are vibrant. In addition the adhesion feels strong and I don’t think they will fall off easily. I placed them at an even 2” from the edge of my screen for a clean look as the back of TV is visible from the hallway. I cannot say for certain if the white is 6500k as I have nothing to compare them against but I think it is close. I can say the light is NOT blueish white as some people have said. Overall I am pleased so far.
