Great book full of ideas to make scenery on your train set or slot car. Great book for anyone wishing to do so.

I've explained in another review, that I'm not strictly a railroad modeller, I'm a scale modeller but don't let this book confuse you - once again its content is 'omniuseful' to anyone who makes any sort of model and wants a nice piece of reference material.I'm particularly taken to the articles on grass, weeds. modelling winter (this section is fantastic), trees (another huge section with lots of information and finally water. These aren't the only sections, but they are my favorites, and although the book isn't thick, what is included within its bindings is good quality, with mostly full colour detailed demonstrations.Another book I'd recommend to anyone who models anything, or ideal as a gift to a modeller.

this book covers trees, snow, water very well. this is a must have if your are planning to build a model scenery (not only railroad, but also dioramas and model landscapes). the only downside is that it is to short..

I am absolutely thrilled with the practicality of this book, the numerous pictures and step-by-step instructions means that even a bit of a hack like myself will easily be able to reproduce the scenery effects in this book. The end results are astoundingly realistic. A must buy for any serious modeler that intends building dioramas.
