Mixed with water it will taste very potent and smells similar to fresh compost (lawn clippings). It is bearable though. My routine is to mix a spoon full in low sodium V8 juice and drink it down. i believe it does deliver essential nutrients that are normally passed when taken in vitamin form. The vitamins within also seem to "absorb" better as this drink does not turn my urine bright yellow which generally is a sign that your densely packed multi-vitamins are not being utilized, especially the B vitamins. I will continue to purchase this product. I do not advice you try mixing it in soup, or spaghetti sauce, I tried it and threw it all away, The flavor was too much for me.
