Review: Company would not support - We purchased the stairstep machine and when we went to use it, the tension on the stairs was not correct and we could use it. We went online and found this was a problem and there were some suggestions correcting the problem but we were not able to get it to work. We called the manufacturer and were told they sold the rights to this machine and parts were 6-12 weeks to get and we probably needed a new part. Fortunately desertcart.com is great and credited our account with only a $70 repacking fee. We felt this was fair on their part but I will not buy a Nataulis product again. Review: Buyer beware - I bought this item several years ago and was disappointed after the first few months. When it works it works well like they way you'd expect but then there are the problems. First, it is very expensive and I was willing to shell out the money hoping it would be top of the line and durable. However, in less than 30 hours of use the belt broke. I ordered a new one only to learn it was back ordered. The item took approx 3 months to receive and the machine just sat there not being used and taking up space. (Apparently, they just don't have that many replacement parts for these machines.) I haven't used it much since and I am worried that it might break again. AND in addition, these small clips that are on the side of the pedals wear and break very quickly from light use (seems to be a design defect). As a result, the pedals move around too much and the loose parts make my knees sore. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
