Pyrex3 Cup Storage Plus Rectangular Dish With Plastic Cover Sold in packs of 6

This 3-cup size is just perfect for use in a 6-quart or larger Instant Pot. In reading the reviews before I bought this product, there was a lot of discussion about the lids not fitting, especially when packing the rectangular dishes in lunches. Before I bought the dishes with their plastic covers, I noticed people saying do not put the lids in the dishwasher. However, in looking at the lids when I received them, it was clear that they are only designed as covers. They do not make an air-tight seal; they are not designed for an air-tight seal. When you put a lid on one of the new dishes, you can press the top of the lid and see the air going in and out. Pyrex says the lids are dishwasher safe on the top shelf, which is probably true though I have not tested this.For use in an Instant Pot, a person only needs 2 of these rectangular dishes and if they need covering during cooking, one uses aluminum foil, not the lids they come with. However, the lids make it convenient to cover the dishes in the refrigerator. I am sharing my purchase with my 2 friends so we can all do Pot-in-pot cooking and each have 2 of these dishes.

The containers are a nice size and shaped well to fit neatly in the freezer. The plastic tops warp in the microwave. I had purchased additional tops and I'm glad I did. It does say it''s microwave safe on the back of the top. It was only on power level 6. I will use clear wrap on these in the future.

Perfect size for proportioning meals. Nest nicely in my cabinet. Good weight and no issues with going from fridge and freezer into microwave (not the top). However they LEAK! As previous reviewer stated here, I knew this, but took a chance. They do not form a spill proof seal, while toting some frozen and thawed fruit, it leaked all over my bag!I still love these, just have to be careful with what I’m carrying in my lunchbox. Perfect for home use where things don’t get jostled

These are so handy for packing up grab and go lunches for the work-week on Sunday. They're not leak proof but ideal for side items to complement what's in the leak proof bowls. Durable and stack well too! Here's how we use - Sunday's I fill 5 containers with 2-3 kinds of snack size fresh veggies like cherry tomatoes, carrots, sweet peas, sweet peppers, small cukes (anything not cut, just washed). Then I fill 5 leak proof bowls with a homemade bone broth based soup (it gels which makes it less leaky). Stack em all up in the frig. Each morning I add a half of an avocado sprinkled with seasoning and a wedge of lime to the prepacked veggie container. Now the easy part. One veggie container and one soup bowl go into an insulated bag with a piece of fruit. Ta'da! Hubs has a happy belly and is healthier not eating cafeteria sludge :) Since starting this a few months ago, it's made a huge difference in his weight & energy level. He uses a warming plate in a soft canvas container to heat his soup at his desk (on Amazon too). But I couldn't do it w/o an Instant Pot for quick healthy soups and these glass & soup containers.

I'm surprised these don't have a better rating. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be older, so perhaps they've changed something? I use these for weekly meal prep so I always have homemade frozen meals on hand. I've never had trouble with the lids fitting or leaking (though I wouldn't be an idiot and put really saucy food in them and expect them to be 100% airtight...) and I haven't had issues with them breaking or exploding in the microwave--and I use them constantly. I try to always thaw in the fridge the night before, but I have defrosted in them without an issue. I think they're great! They hold just enough for a single meal but they're nice and compact, so great for freezer storage.

I love this size. It is about the size of a small bento box or the same size as My Fit Foods or those other healthy prepared foods. I make my food for the week and put some in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. They don't show any signs of wear after putting them in the freezer. I also have the round pyrex ones (2 cups and 4 cups). The problem I noticed with the round ones was that after putting them in the microwave, the lid sometimes almost turns inside out due to the heat (even if I open up a small corner). I haven't noticed that issue with these. I think it's the size and shape of these. It makes it easier to get an actual corner up in the microwave, unlike the round ones. These are the perfect size for taking lunch to work.

The interior box was fully ripped open on one side, and one of the containers was shattered. I would return it, and I would like a replacement for it, but I don't want to send a box of broken glass back through the mail for no reason. Otherwise, I've used these before and I really like them, perfect size for one meal.

I love these food storage containers. They work in the freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. When I take them to work with leftovers in them, my friends have their lunch in the same containers as well. They are small enough they don't take up a lot of room in the cupboard and stack inside each other, yet large enough you feel like you are getting a nice size portion for a meal. Once a week a make up a crock pot full of food, then divide it amongst several of these containers, then take one out throughout the week whenever I need a meal and heat it up... Love these. Nice for salads and fruit as well..
