Gone through 1-2oz jar and my face is so much better
Believe me, just like you I read all the reviews. The good and the bad. I know a low star rating can get you to read the review, but it would just not be right. #1 there is no masking smell, it smells like its components. Not good, not bad. Best of all no fake floral smell. #2 you can't skimp on the lotion, if you are going to use it, use it. It will soak in given time you do not need to rub it in. Let it set on the skin and soak in. #3 I have seborrheic dermatitis BAD around the eyes, I gloop it on then place my face mask and go to bed. The results are un-paralleled. #4 Its not a panacea, or a cure. If you don't use regularly, or control your stress, you will still have break outs. But gloop it on and continue your day Many complain about the size, well if you buy the cheaper option you get the smaller size. Buy the $30 option and get 4x the amount of the cheaper option. Simple economics. Lastly, yes it does not smell good. But for the results, it's worth it.

Works well but the scent takes some getting used to
I’ve been using this cream to manage seborrheic dermatitis flare-ups on my face and neck. Overall, it does a good job soothing redness and dryness without feeling greasy. My skin feels hydrated and the itching has definitely lessened after consistent use for a couple of weeks. That said, the smell was a bit off-putting at first—kind of strong and unusual. It took me a few days to get used to it. The texture is thick but absorbs fairly well once rubbed in. The 2-ounce size is a bit small considering you need to apply it regularly. If you can handle the scent and stay consistent with the routine, this cream is effective. I’d recommend it but hope they improve the fragrance in future versions.

Works like is says it will. Made in USA! Which is nice to know!
So far so good, been about a week though. Seems to help better than anything else I have tried. I did read where Seborrheic dermatitis is a yeast infection, so using this WITH a daily does of Lotrimin (Clotrimazole 1% anti fungal) , I have found has REALLY helped with flaking and itching. That is working for me. Complaints about smell are a bit over the top. It's not fragrance free, but doesn't have a "terrible smell" as some reviews said either. Didn't burn me or anything, really feels like a protective coating. Light and not greasy. Absorbs quickly. Small jar will last a long time depending on how much skin needs treating, but I feel this will last well over a year. Will report back with longer results. A+ for me , so far.

Reformulate please, bad odor
UPDATED: Please read below for original review -or- scroll to bottom to find out why Now give ''''''''''5stars(: I bought this for me boyfriend because we believe he has developed seborrheic dermatitis in his nose and beard region. Although he has never been professionally diagnosed with this condition, it's the only explanation (self-diagnosis) that has come close to his "problem" that we've never been able to identify over the past 4 years. He never suffered from this (seborrheic dermatitis) before and I can honestly say it's only gotten worse over the years, gradually becoming a bigger problem with no relief from what he thought was just a "sensitive skin" issue. About the actual product: It does work however, there are a few things I should mention. For one, I'm not sure if maybe ours was a bad batch but it REALLY stinks. We've even nicknamed it "milky" ' because it smells kind of like rotten milk (NOT as rancid but still, not appealing at all to the senses) So while it does work on his face to calm his outbreaks (rashes & flaking) he can't stand the smell of it. Second, for the price you pay you'd expect to get more use out of it. And again, this is because of the smell, it bothers my boyfriend so much that the amount of use he gets out of it is very minimal. I do appreciate the ingredient list (which would explain why [maybe] it smells spoiled.... Because obviously extract from REAL foods/plants spoil). And if that's the case I may have gotten a defective product, SoooOoo .. I deserve a replacement or my money back' Fact of the matter is I really don't know why it smells the way it does, it all might be the norm. And if you can get past it just know that (from my boyfriend's point of view) it offers: 1. relief from the itching 2. calms redness / irritated skin 3. keeps his flakies in control (at least for a good part of the day) Things he doesn't like: 1. This may just be [his] personal preference but he's not one for a face routine. If it requires a lot of work he would rather go without; he doesn't like that he has to do this often 2. The benefits don't last long (has to do it on a daily basis) ..and..the recommendations on the packaging say to use 2-3 times A DAY. He doesn't have that kind of time during the day to be reapplying as if it were makeup or something lol 3. Because of the smell he DOESNT use it everyday, which means he's not getting money's worth. I honestly think if it wasn't so bad smelling he would be more willing to adjust to using more often. Otherwise, I would have given 4-5 stars but odor aspect of this cream just takes away from the product itself. '' '''''''''' UPDATE: '''''''''' So THE COMPANY - who read my review, not Amazon or the buyer, was appalled by our experience & reached out to me to send me a replacement free of cost. The first thing we compared was the smell because obviously this was the same product therefore no need to compare anything else (if you read the original review). No smell! I'm not making accusations .. But Amazons product must have been expired or something, like the item had to have been sitting on shelve for long because the one we received (again, from the company) was not alike in comparison. At any rate, My boyfriend tried it out and it's worked. Much like before I mean the effectiveness wasn't affected much but the old smell was just too much for him that he wouldn't use it constantly. Well, now that he's gotten the "right" [new] product he uses it consistently. And results are great. He still suffers from his skin irritation. However, they are very minimal. Will not claim that this cures it because I'm not a doctor but I CAN say it makes a huge difference. Even when he does have an outbreak for lack of hygiene (as I said above my bf is not one for routine face washes etc. although he should be because let's face it- dirt accumulates.) this cream still hold up and HAS improved his skin some; could say this cream tamed his skin issue. Would recommend! I won't change the rating because I like the fact that under 3 stars the readers get to see my review first & therefore can see an honest opinion of how it works. Just know that yes, I feel it DOES deserve '' 5stars. Hope this helps, & anyone who's read this far(

Keeps the worst of it at bay
My case isn't a very bad one. I get patches around my nose, sometimes around my mouth and between the eyebrows. Beyond that, my skin is classified as "normal". It's also white, and I guess mature-ish, if that matters. When I was a kid, I had (bad) eczema. Over the years, it's morphed into SD. Most regular creams and lotions will either trigger it, or make it worse. Perfumes, chemicals, conservatives (especially parabens) are my enemies. Hard to find a 100% natural cream that doesn't have a host of unfavorable effects either (SD or not - making me break out, stinging a little, making my skin oily, whatever). Like another reviewer, I also found that the SD gets worse if I don't wash my face at least once a day. Also when I sweat. At first I thought this cream was way to thick and greasy. But it's not. I've been using it for weeks, and I absolutely love it. First, I've had zero reaction. My SD is under control (I've also been religious about washing my face every evening with the same brand's wash). And while it IS thick, it does penetrate quickly enough, makes my skin comfortable all day, and it never gets oily. I've been having fewer zits, too. I can't say for sure that the cream is actually helping, but I can say that it's not making things worse, which is all I wanted, and it's pleasurable to use, even in summer. I also love the smell. I'll get more when I run out.

Stopped my itching
This solved the itching on my back. I tried to use it on my face also, but it didn't work on my face. When it dried, it make kind of a crust that was visible when I put makeup on so I only use it on my body. Does not have mentol in it. Works anyway. And after a few weeks the itching doesn't come back.

Not quite a miracle cream but close!
I bought this cream for my red irritated skin that would get dry and flaky around my mouth and nose. It was horrible, after putting on prescription cream from the dermatologist and then my make up after a few hours my skin around my mouth would start flaking and peeling. It looked like I had a sunburn and the skin was peeling. A few months after my prescription ran out and nothing seemed to help I found this Seborrheic Dermatitis cream. It helped my dermatitis issue even though mine was not "seborrheic". No where on this cream did I see that it was non-comedogenic so I took it my dermatology office and they said all the ingredients look good and it was not going to cause me to break out. So that is great. Cream is not greasy and absorbs quickly. I can put my Tarte foundation on top of it and it looks great. I have been using this for about two weeks and so far I love it. I will update this after a few months to see if I still love it. I just wish I would have taken before and after pics for two weeks use to show consumers how well it works.

Will not thin your skin
Used to combat the itch and pain of inverse psoriasis without thinning skin the way hydrocortisone does.

amazing cream / very helpful / would recommend
I have suffered from seb-derm for my whole life and have tried many products over the years. Usually during a flare up I would resort to hydrocortisone, which temporarily worked but I would still have flare ups. This cream I use daily and I have had limited to zero flare ups. I don't claim that it's completely solved my seb derm as I use this in combination with some other products (shampoo & facewash), but since I've introduced it into my routine I have seen a notable difference. It's also not a heavy cream (unlike others I've used) which make the skin look oily, this when applied moderately has never gave my skin an oily look. Anyways, great product was very surprised & very helpful
