Tamiya 86001 Paint Spray, White

If your painting RC car lexan bodies this IMO Is the GOAT and the Only Spray Paint to Use! Tons of colors just remember PS paint for lexan. Make sure to wash body prior to painting and this stuff is self etching and doesn't need a primer. I've used black, white, Light Blue Flo Pink, Flo Green & Flo Orange and they've all been great and easy to use and get professional looking paint jobs. Sit cans in container of hot water to get the paint warm and better pressure and Shake for 2mins.

After taking a long break from RC painting, I picked up a few cans of this Tamiya Color paint for polycarbonate. All I can say is WOW! This stuff goes on great, bonds perfectly and is very strong and scratch resistant. I strongly recommend heating up the can a bit by letting it sit in a bowl of hot water before using (just hot enough to keep your finger in without burning). This makes the paint come out smoother, more evenly and it dries MUCH faster between coats. Remember, LIGHT coats! I usually get about 4-5 coats per can if I’m spraying the whole body one color.

This paint is perfect for small hobby projects. I’m using it for a scale RC crawler body. Very smooth and covers well. This seller was great. Shipped super fast and packed well.

Tamiya brand spray paint is a legendary product for RC people including me. It is just flawless and sprays evenly. Also, my finger tip can be clean and has NO paint at all. For some other brands, paint sticks to the finger that presses the top of the spray after the painting. It is a mess, but you will be clean after painting with Tamiya brand.

This is great paint for RC bodies. I just wish there was more in the can. The picture I added is an 1/8 scale GT Inferno body using Tamiya White paint as a backer behind Duratrax Pearl white (The Pearl White is translucent) and finished off with Duratrax Pure White. One can of Tamiya wasn't enough for multiple coats, so I give it 4 out of 5 stars

Can’t go wrong with Tamiya paint for your nitro or electric lexan bodies. I used this to brighten colors or use it as my base color.

Parfait, peinture qui recouvre bien, cela correspondait à mes attentes. Le seul petit bémol, c'est l'odeur qui se répand facilement et est assez importante. Il faut penser à faire sa peinture dans un endroit bien aéré, et séparé de son endroit de vie.

Used this with the same make of tape. Odroid advance was sprayed using this, I must say very happy with the results. Tamiya masking tape was top notch too..
