Nice, lightweight, portable, spacious ... elegant lines.
Handles the wind well, even in high-desert new mexico 60mph sandstorms;but not in gulf coast hurricane wind (blew right over but didn't damage the tent.In a hurricane force windstorm in new mexico, the tent pole bent like a soda straw, collapsing the tent. After re-inforcing the pole with wood & duct tape, it worked well again. The PVC 'windows' disintegrated in new mexico sun, then during a windstorm the windows blew out,& the wind proceeded to first implode the tent, then explode it, ... going through this implode/explode cycle until the front part of the tent was shredded.Handles rain well. (Tent was treated with silicon spray before use.)A great, spacious tent for short-term uses. Easy to transport, and easy to set-up.

Very spacious, stayed completely dry in a downpour
This tent has worked really well for us. It's easy to set up, though we did get heavier duty stakes for the tent and ground cloth. It's very spacious inside, and the waterproofing kept us dry in a big thunderstorm.

Best tent I have ever owned!
Spacious and easy to use! I have camped all of my life and at 57, this is the best tent I have ever owned. 20 minutes to set up, 20 minutes to pack up.I recommend purchasing heavier and longer stakes. Also, use carpet or yoga mats to pad the floor, as it is thin to reduce weight and pack size.

After a year of searching, I’m impressed.
Pretty impressed with this tent. I’ve been looking at canvas tents for about a year or so and didn’t wanna pay the price so we settled for this one, hoping it would at least be better quality than a regular retail store tent.We took it out for a week of camping on Lake Ouachita in Arkansas during Spring Break and we pleasantly surprised at how much room we had in this thing! There was plenty of room for our family of five to all have our own sleep space, all of our bags, a portable Mr. Heater, and more. The height was also very nice, because we never had to crouch down while inside. It was fairly easy set-up, completed by only my hubs and my 12 year old son. They had it done in less than 30 minutes. We did have to go back and re-pull the guy lines and re-stake the floor so there weren’t a bunch of wrinkles, but I’m assuming that’s normal. The first night was quite stormy and honestly I was a tad afraid we were going to fly away in the 40mph winds, but once my hubs cut the tarp off the tent, it did much better. The center pole did get bent in the storm though :/ It stormed from midnight to around 6am and the only time rain started coming through was after sun up. I’m assuming the tent just couldn’t be more soaked at that point. But I was super impressed that it didn’t let any through prior to that and what little came through was seriously no big deal. The only things I would change about this tent are:The triangle to hang lanterns on is either at the very top of the pole (10ft up) or the very bottom. Next time we will bring a string for the lantern. And, more windows and places for storage (there’s only one zipper pouch for the entire tent), would’ve been nice.Overall really great tent. Looking forward to making a lot of memories with the kids in this one.

Big failure, center pole.
So far so good, it took me about 15 min to setup the tent with a bum arm. Not bad, now to see how well it works for a few days.. well the tent was up for 6 days and the center pole bent in half, haven't been able to contact danchel about this yet. Other than that tent in need of a few upgrades

Large, simple tent
It's very large. lots of headroom. Sets up ok. The tie down ropes are annoying. They go everywhere and you constantly trip on them, but thats what you get with a tent without pole support structures. The ropes over the door are especially annoying, tho. Other than that, good tent..
