Overall it does exactly what I purchased it for! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did not pair with the premom app *by L***E on July 27, 2024* The thermometer feels well made, the display screen is large and the backlight is good. I appreciate that it came with an extra battery, although it is coin battery operated, which is a cause for concern in a house with infants/toddlers. My main issue with this product is that it did not pair with the premom app on my phone. The bluetooth pairing feature was the main reason I got this particular BBT thermometer, so I wouldn't have to log my BBT manually every day. I have tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, logging in and logging out of the app, changing the thermometer's battery, turning my bluethooth on and off, trying to find it through the bluetooth settings, turning wifi/data off, turning wifi/data on, and just about everything else I could think of to try to make it pair, but it just won't. The bluetooth info on my phone says it is connected to yuncheng_a33 when I attempt to pair, and that connection disappears as soon as the thermometer turns off, but the pairing itself does not happen between the app and the thermometer, which leads me to believe the thermometer itself has a defect. Disappointed. I could have bought a much less expensive thermometer without the bluetooth feature, but I chose this one which doesn't have the feature I paid the extra money for. Update: I was able to exchange it, and it pairs with the app now.
