A timer thats quite easy to useIve lost a few timers in the past and I've also had one i had to insert batteries into.This timer requires no batteries and works manually, twist in a clockwise direction to set the time (analogue), it moves in an anti clockwise direction as it counts down, and gives a sound once the 0 mark has been reached.Only thing i noticed was that the sound wasn't loud enough for me to her while away from the kitchen, otherwise it does work pretty well.What I like most with this is the magnetic base, I simply stuck mine to my fridge, that way i won't lose it, and for your information, the magnetic force is quite strong that it will take an amount of force to remove the alarm from wherever you magnetise it to. This means it won't fall off by chance of any reason.For the elderly, they would need a good grip and hand reflex to use this arm well.

I really wasn't sure should I spend that much on kitchen timer however in the past we have gone through so many of them. They always break.This one is proper quality equipment. It's heavy , made or metal. Really nice colour. And I like.the way it shows how much time is left. There is a ribbon that comes out from inside and retracts back with time. Really, I can't fault it. Beside being a bit pricey but like with everything, you get what you paid for.

I love this timer! I bought this specific one as it shows the time getting less, for my daughter to learn to understand time runs out. I use it in the kitchen a lot and for study time too. It is also a bit of a girlhood thing as my mom'stimer was a wind up and quite similar. Great product!I need to add if you need the absolute down to half a second timer, this one is not for you. Get a digital one

Great build quality much more solid than other timers I've had. Only used it once but the magnetic base is perfect for tucking away on the side of the fridge if, like me, you are short of space in the kitchen. Quiet when timing down and loud enough to hear in an adjacent room when it goes off.

I bought this not for timing my cooking but for timing my daughter whilst she does her homework and also for restricting ipad timings. This way she gets to learn to time herself as this timer is easy enough for a child to operate. It requires 2 AAA batteries and has small magnets at the back and secures nicely to the fridge.

I liked the colour and style. However as there was no ring when the time was up, it defeated the purpose of having a timer. Returned the item

Top notch delivery time.Lovely looking item with strong magnet,brought this item as it stated that it had a loud ringer,my husband and I are both elderly and hard of hearing so we thought this would be perfect,WRONG! Set timer as instructed,it rang for all of 2 seconds and sounded pathetic,also dial was split at zero.waste of our money.

The timer is super easy to use. For my new kitchen, it is an artifact. It ensures that my meals are perfect. Other than that, I use it more as my learning aid. Mainly it can be used without batteries, very environmentally friendly, like it.
