All I can say is Kudus to Fluke
My work has me de-jacketing MANY different types of cable & wire of MANY sizes, material thickness, material composition and quality. Unlike other less priced cable strippers - this unit works mint for ALL my types. I am spared the anguish of having the blade over cut the jacket, into my internal wire(s)'s jacket(s)/shield(s). It's fully adjustable, ease to use, quick to operate and simply WORKS MINTFOR ALL MY WORK! For that, it's worth every penny and lives up to the Fluke reputation for quality.

I appreciate good quality tools like this
I owned one like this that lasted 7 years of constant use on Cat 5 & 6, RG6, RG59 and various cables and wires that needed to be stripped. Eventually it did get dull. I was so accustomed to it that I wanted another one exactly like it. So far this one is performing as well as the first. The fact that the blade is fixed and well protected is probably what makes it so reliable.

The best compact mini cable stripper
I have used a few different cable strippers and none of the compact ones could cut the sheathing as well as this Fluke. It's light weight but is a workhorse within my electrical equipment. Can't go wrong with the product as far as I am concerned.

Great Little Tool
I've been using it with Cat5e/6 cables and 25-twisted-pair cables, does a great job on both. Unfortunately the first one I ordered actually came with no blade at all inside the package (a pretty spectacular failing on the part of QA for a stripper that costs this much, only reason I knocked a star off) and so I had to run around town tracking down a replacement blade as I needed this thing that day. I did however like it so much (once it had a blade in it) that I wound up ordering a second one to keep at home. Moral of the story is, order it ahead of time and check to see if it has a blade before you open the packaging.

A little pricey but works really good
initially I thought it was very expensive but I already had couch that it fits in so I went ahead and spent the money it's pretty good quality and it makes my job bleed easier but still a bit overpriced just because it says fluke on it.

best CAT5 stripper and more
I have had this stripper for about 6 years; I have put it through heavy use. I have stripped thousands of CAT5 cables with this tool (not an exaggeration). I am a field tech, I use this in the field to strip CAT5 or b-9502, or b-8760, or even triple 12 awg conductor insulation. I have had many clients remark that this is one of the best tool designs they have seen. When the blade depth is adjusted correctly, a couple of spins without any pressure will score the insulation without cutting through and nicking internal conductors. A quick twist of the insulation and it breaks off perfectly. I still use mine, I just bought another for my new technician in training.

Works well

Great tool, works well. We use it for cutting through the outer layer of Ubiquiti ToughCable. ToughCable is very finicky, but that's nothing to do with this tool, which offers a precise depth of cut.

Very handy, made life easier with adjustable depth of cut.

It is a good tool, but has limitations, as compared to IDEAL 45-165 Data/Phone Cable Stripper, which is mostly sought after by professional contractors in data/com trade. Cannot replace the blade, unless you are creative and like to tinker with things ;-) I finally did take it apart because I found being unable to adjust the depth of cut where it does not nick insulation of individual wires in CAT6. I replaced the hollow rivet, which holds this tool together, with a NY-lock nut and appropriate SS machine screw. Now I am able to adjust the blade where it cuts almost perfect, still not as good as IDEAL tool does. The other thing, I see as inconvenience, is that you cannot put this tool over a cable like a clip, rather have to run the end of cable into it, for a cut, as compared to IDEAL. Additionally you cannot do a lengthwise cuts, which IDEAL does.
