Good saddle, but carbon not worth the extra.

The carbon rails are not built into the seat as other SMP carbon saddles are. If I had a do-over, I would have purchased the regular SMP Pro and saved that money. Have ridden 300 miles on the seat and have yet to break it in. Incredibly painful until I finally found some bibs that actually cover the sit area for me. Endura FS-260 Pro with Wide Chamois. These actually appear to be made for the SMP Lite 209 Saddle as no other shorts I have purchased, and I've spent thousands on shorts trying to find a pair that worked, covered the sit part of the SMP Lite 209. Now that I have the correct shorts, I can get through a 35 mile ride without suffering. For rides longer than 35 miles, I use the sells anatomica X2 that I cut the leather to resemble the SMP Pro that is easier on the tush and soft bits.
