OK quality, good value.
Good for the price. The build quality is fine, but there are some design features I would pay extra to change in retrospect. With three 45lb plates on each side, the leg pads do nothing to keep the thin bar from digging into your upper legs. I have remedied this by putting a 2x4 between the bar and my leg on each side with a stopper block to keep it from rolling off the boards. It's a little loose once you start getting up there in weight, but with 180lbs and less it's solid. The stick-on grip pieces slide around, so I peeled them off and re-glued them with super glue and haven't had an issue since. Overall, good for light to moderate weight, good build quality, and good value at this price.

Enhance your health
I ordered this for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. Easy to use he said so of course I tried it!!! He ended up ordering a larger model for himself due to his wanting extreme muscle sculpture, but it was great product

gets the job done
I was debating between this and the xmark calf machine, but went for this due to the fact that it was cheaper and figured it was the same thing. The part that rest against your thighs isn't comfortable with any decent weight on it (90+ lbs). The stick on grips on for your feet keeps sliding off and peels off. No olympic weight adapters come with it, not a big deal. It gets the job done, but was a disappointment. The seat wobbles side to side more than I would like, and the bolts are tighten. Bottom line, I should've gone with the xmark, but this gets the job done and I'll stick with it.

BUY THE MACHINE!
A lot of people are complaining about the pads not being thick enough. GET BIGGER THIGHS. THE MACHINE is great. I am a power lifter. I am pushing 245lbs on it and it works perfect. Some people are complaining it doesn't hold up very well. PUT I TOGETHER CORRECTLY. The machine works great for me. Just saying guys, QUIT COMPLAINING!

Good unit for the price point
Good unit for the price point. Not as good as more expensive, sturdier commercial units, but it's also not a home gym piece that gets a ton of use either so it's a trade off. Only complain is the feet stickies pads. Cleaned foot rests with brake clean to get any contaminants off, didn't use for a few days, and it's slowly peeling itself off. Best advuce, hit a home center and buy some traction tape and use that vs what this unit comes with. Also, I'm 5'10", average guy, don't bother trying to use 45lb plates, you won't be able to get a full range of motion. So largest plate I use are the 35's which allows full ROM for me. I alter high weight, low rep 1 day then 3 to 4 days later lighter weight higher reps to really pound calves to try and help growth. Only loaded 210lb total to date on heavy day, motion is solid and secure, knee pads compress bad, but it is what it is, no different than loading squat bar heavy, heavy weight digs in and what helps hold bar or whatever into position, so it's not a bad thing.

Poor assembly, bad design, painful workout (not in a good way)
-The assembly was awful. Probably the worst assembly instructions ever. No tools included. You'll need at least an adjustable wrench and a socket wrench set, Id also recommend a rubber mallet and industrial strength glue that can bond to metal (I've used it once and some of the adhesive components that came with it have already come unglued). -The design is poorly conceived. I'm a size 12 foot couldn't achieve a good calf extension because my foot would hit the floor (ie the foot bar is too close to the ground), so i had to prop the machine on top of a few weight plates to get more elevation (see picture 1). Even still, my heel hits the floor before I can get a full extension (see pic 2 of my shoe relative to the now-elevated foot bar). - The workout / burn is questionable at best. The thing about your calves is that they support your body weight all day long, so if you're going to give them a good workout you've got to load them up. I mean REALLY much more weight than you think. However, the foam leg pads (the ones designed to press against your quads, against which you're lifting the weights) are NOT NEARLY DENSE ENOUGH. So, with any kind of real weight loaded onto the machine, you're going to experience some real pain when the weight presses back down against your legs. I've had to take a foam floor mat (ie a workout mat), cut it into strips, and wrap those strips AROUND the foam leg guards that came with the machine. This seems to help significantly. Ultimately I'd recommend not purchasing this machine and splurging a little more on something that's easy you assemble, designed for a good workout, and won't cause you horrible leg pain. -Cheers

I wouldn’t buy again
It does not fit me well with long legs... also if you load the weight up heavy the pads are not that great and it hurts your quads. The sticky pads for your feet come off after a few uses. The center piece with the cushion is very loose no matter how tight I try and get it. I would spend another hundred and get a better quality machine. This is the only piece of equipment I went cheap on and regret it...

This is a great product! It’s great for me as I’m judt a little person. If you’re a big guy and lift heavy... this would not be good for you. I put 60pds on mine and works great!!! Very steady Not for juice monkeys ;)

The thigh rolls are a little bit uncomfortable and heavier weights will slightly hurt your thighs but it’s not unbearable. I read about the sticky foot grips peeling off so I just wear shoes and never bothered putting the pads on. It’s not hard to assemble, it just seems like a daunting task when you look at the diagrams and instructions. Took about 45 mins to put it together. Anyone saying it’s too complicated to assemble has a pea brain or no patience.

Il pacco è arrivato in tempo rapidissimi e ci ho messo pochissimo tempo a montare l'attrezzo. Facile anche da usare e incredibilmente efficace! Consigliato per chi voglia allenare i polpacci a casa.
