Tamed the Beast
Is working well. Tamed the jerky throttle serge by about 60%. Serge is still somewhat there, but much more manageable. Now Bike is not obnoxious at part throttle. In fact its a joy. The tube has a thin ring that the original plastic tube didn't have but it didn’t affect anything. I’m guessing it is a grip stop to keep grip away from throttle housing and it does hold the grip out away from the housing further than the original tube. Throttle twist is free and snaps back nicely. I can feel the cable very slightly rub the alloy cam groove but it seems to lessen with use and only when tube is side loaded. Operates smooth. Total twist is slightly more than the original throttle. Initial twist throttle response is not as jumpy. Better on my shoulders and neck for part throttle riding.

I was very disappointed and can honestly not tell any difference in this and the stock throttle. Giving 2 stars because it was easy to install and fit correctly. Like I said, unfortunately it didn’t change the throttle response thou..

This is the same as stock 2022 Yamaha YZ450FX throttle tube the exact same thing.
This is the same exact tube the bike comes with stock. Does not tame a thing!! Best bet is grind down the stock tube to make the throttle less violent lol!

Didn't feel much of a difference
I didn't feel the difference and now that I've gotten better on the bike I want to go back to a stock cam.

Nice and smooth
Works great for toning down the throttle especially in 1st gear. I've used this style throttle on two different bikes and I love it. Had to adjust throttle slack after installation.

sofar so good
2019 Yamaha yz250fx. Fits and functions so far. Only tested it out in the driveway so I haven't ridden it on trails yet.Installation was about 30 minutes b/c I have knuckle bars wrapped around. The most amount of time was removing the old grip off the original throttle. If you have brand new grips, no bar ends, just a stock bike, it would be about 5 minutes.

Great way to calm down yz250f for enduro type of riding
If you want to use mx bike for woods riding Than This thing is a good upgrade. Idk yet if it makes sense on mx track but for what I do now I’m more than happy
