BURBERRYSwiss Unisex 38mm Gunmetal Black Gray Watch

Having only gotten this very recently, this review is based on initial impressions of look and feel. With that said, it's gorgeous. The gun metal color is cool. The hands and number markers are slick, and the pattern on the face is so visually appealing that you almost want to check your watch just for that.So far it feels nice, although still breaking it in. I worry about keeping this nice and clean...seems like it'll require more attention and maintenance than usual but should be worth it. Also, the watch case, accessories, and warranty options add to the appearance of luxury.Edited to add: So I'm doing this much sooner than I thought I would, but after a couple of days of wearing it, then storing it in the case for a couple of days and following the instructions for proper care, I have to jump in and knock a star off and express a criticism. I'm keeping the watch, but it seems only for special occasions or the occasional dinner, as a showpiece and no more. Keeping this watch clean and shiny and just looking new seems like a titanic task. After wearing it for only a little while it noticeably gets smudgy and even gunky, even though I don't do anything that would cause that. Seems like it just happens naturally. I even took it out of the case today and, despite having cleaned it beforehand, it was still a little dirty in places. I really don't like looking at a new watch and feeling like I've had it for years. I have a silver, stainless steel Hamilton Ventura that always looks fantastic without much maintenance and that's after a year of ownership and use. The coloring and the length of time I use it for on a given day should make it prime for cleaning, and yet I find it hard to even notice anything that needs to be wiped off. This Burberry--after even a little while, one glance down to look at the time and I see stuff on the band that needs to go.Also, the hands on this watch, despite having marks that would indicate being luminous in the dark, don't light up at all. I'm keeping the watch for very specific and limited purposes, because the negatives can be overlooked in bursts. But unlike my Hamilton, I'm disappointed that this watch doesn't appear suitable for even moderate use because of all the maintenance it would require. I'm sure it'll go well with evening wear and the like, and for that I suppose the cost is worth it. I just thought I could get more out of it. If my opinion changes at any point I will certainly edit this review again. Call it 3 1/2 stars.

Purchases as a first year anniversary gift for my husband. The watch is absolutely beautiful. Love the gunmetal color. Very classy. However the size is a little bit smaller than I expected. Was going to return it. But my daughters loved it so I decided to keep it. Hoping my husband also love it for his anniversary gift
