If you’re hesitant to try… don’t be!
We are only a couple days in with our goldendoodle (45 lbs) and I’ve seen insane improvement in his teeth/breathe. We had taken him to the vet that day after his breath had gotten so bad after a few months with nothing working. We walked out with a suggestion of a full teeth cleaning ($1100-1900 bill procedure) but in the meantime the vet has suggested some liquid (perio support) to go into his water to help get by until the cleaning. Well our dog won’t touch the water but in my research I came across these. He loves them! And day 1 I noticed a difference, but chalked it up to my imagination. Day 3 the tarter has significantly improved and his breath is back to normal, and maybe even improved! I’m excited to see how these continue to work but I’m so happy to be able to snuggle my dog again without gagging!!! These are amazing and saved us a ton!

YES!!! The Virbac C.E.T. System WORKS!!!!!
YES!!! They really work! Forget Greenies or whatever other chew you are using. The Virbac C.E.T.® Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews are truly amazing! HISTORY: During Sailor's annual physical our vet urged for a full teeth cleaning. During that visit I asked about what dental care products he recommended moving forward. Without hesitation he recommended both the CET Chews and Liquid AQUADENT and even provided me with informational pamphlets. OK. I thought perhaps some day that's what I will do. So, I called to make the appointment for Sailor's dental treatment and was told that the cost would be OVER $1,000.00 USD (i.e. NOT Pesos but Dollars). Screw that! ACTION: I immediately ordered both the Virbac C.E.T.® Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews and the C.E.T. AQUADENT. RESULTS: In less than 30 days Sailor's teeth show remarkable improvement...astonishing. As a side benefit, his breath is fresh and clean. ISSUES: At first Sailor was not overly enamored with the Chews and was somewhat fussy drinking the treated water. BE PATIENT. Within 5-10 days he now looks forward to his daily Chew and laps up his water enthusiastically. The Virbac C.E.T. system WORKS!!!!!!!

Perfect for our dogs
Our dogs have always loved these! It's good for tartar, it's a long lasting chew and easy to digest, though we never let them chew a whole one at one time. Our Vet recommended these a long time ago, and they have been in the pantry for years!

Dogs love them.
A little pricey but worth it. My dogs love them and a friend who is a vet tech said they are great for your dogs dental health.

Pricey but satifying
Although these can get pricey, they seem to satisfy our pups desire to chew ( beats chewing on anything that is mine) She only weighs 20 lbs and goes through about one a day.

Great product!
One of my miniature Cavapoo’s favorites - I give him these to chew when I need 5 minutes to finish a project - they don’t last too long, but he really enjoys them.

HAZARD…formed compact solid chunk, blocked off circumference of my pugs airway
The Chews are very dangerous, they don’t dissolve (not even in chunks or pieces), severe choking hazard. My pug had been chewing on it constantly for over an hour. She’d chew it for a bit and then spit it out for a few then start chewing on it again. I thought she was just taking her time to enjoy it. Turns out it was not very chewable and got wadded up into a small condensed rock hard chunk. So she tried to swallow the whole chunk since it wouldn’t soften up or break apart. She rapidly started struggling to breathe. I quickly jammed my fingers down her throat and dug it out. She would have suffocated and died if I hadn’t been able to reach it. She’s a Pug and already has breathing & pallet difficulties. The description when purchasing a single bag markets the item form as: CHEWABLES, single layer for easier digestion. The 3 pack markets the item form as: WAFERS, gulping whole chews reduce efficacy, “can be” harmful for dogs. Mentions nothing about possible choking hazard or even recommending supervision when the dog is chewing on it. My dogs have an obsession with chewing kongs, toys, antlers, sticks and even rocks. Never had any issues swallowing or gulping items down. They prefer to suck on it and carry it in their mouth wherever they go. I rarely purchase any type or form of rawhide due to a possible choking hazard. I read the reviews and that they are #1 with Vets for dental hygiene. I read several different descriptions and packages, didn’t see anything about possible choking hazard. It mentions if swallowed whole it reduces the efficacy and CAN be harmful to your dog. The way it’s worded gives the impression that if swallowed whole it might make your dog sick due to ingesting the abrasive dual enzyme system all at once…. Especially if you need to wash hands after handling it. No issues with the first couple of chews. But most of them were unable to be chewable and didn’t really breakdown/soften or pull apart so I would throw them out. I have seen many dogs attempt to swallow them whole, usually by softening it first. I had never witnessed or heard of a “chew” that folded up into a small rock solid rawhide. I was unfortunately unaware that was a possibility, I was monitoring them to make sure that when it was softened up they wouldn’t try to swallow the entire thing at once, like the package warned about. I heard her struggling to breathe so I tried immediately reached in her mouth trying to feel a huge soft long piece of rawhide. Couldn’t feel anything. Took my fingers out and she still couldn’t take a breath. So I reached as far down her throat as I could making a scooping motion with one finger to find what was blocking her airways. After pulling her tongue forward with my free hand I finally found the issue. Absolutely horrified that something could become so compact and flat with rugged edges that it could get stuck and block the circumference of her esophagus. Please clarify on your packaging and descriptions that it is VERY important to NEVER leave your dog unattended chewing any type of raw hide.

My dog Loves these!
My dog loves these! He doesn’t allow us to brush his teeth, so these are the next best thing. For reference, my dog is a 4lbs full grown Yorkie, so I purchase the smallest ones.

Damaged bag and strange product...
I had ordered these in the past without any issues. My dog absolutely loves them, and they worked great for helping reduce tartar and keeping his teeth clean. Before this experience, I would have happily given this product 5 stars. Unfortunately, the last bag I received had small holes all over the packaging. At first, I thought maybe the bones inside were still fine, so I opened the bag and compared them to an older one I still had. I noticed that the ones from the damaged bag were more yellowish and had strange tiny specks in them, almost like small black dots. I tried taking pictures, but it’s hard to capture clearly on camera. I wanted to return the product and reorder it, but then I realized that this item cannot be returned. That means my $30 essentially went straight into the trash, which is very disappointing. To be fair, I will order another bag to give the product another chance, as this may have just been an unfortunate packaging issue. However, if this happens again, I will not purchase it again. The no-return policy is frustrating because it prevents customers from sending back defective items so the seller can see the problem and address it. It would be unfortunate for the company to lose customers over something like this, because before this incident it was actually my favorite dental chew for my dog. I used to recommend it often because it cleaned his teeth well, worked effectively, and my dog, who is very picky, absolutely loved them.
