Exact replacement for 2006 BMW X5 4.4 fixed P0128 code
I was hesitant about buying this when the Behr brand is about $53. Comparing to the original it felt a little lighter and was concerned about quality. I think I have a chirping noise coming from the water pump but that being a bigger project it will get delayed for another season. I also changed the hose assembly because it was broke. Both parts came from Amazon. Took for test drive and refilled coolant and code hasn’t come back. I recommend purchasing for anyone experiencing this issue

It opened up at 100c/ 212f, about 10 degrees difference from OEM! My 650i is running a bit cooler, and a whole lot better! Many thanks gaiths!

This item opens at 103-105 degrees centigrade and not at 95 as advertised.
I purchased this as it advertised opening temp at 95C but after many tests its operating very similar to the OEM version. I did post a video on YouTube to demonstrate this.The quality seems fine.Since the opening temp was 105C, I did put some more wax in the shaft and lowered the temp myself but obviously that is a whole other story.
